Cottontop is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish him as a family member. He is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want his transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!). Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Cottontop can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life. In the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Cottontop is never without a safety net; he will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until his perfect home is found. Meet Cottontop! Age: 4 Months as of July 21 Weight: 20 lbs (Current weight as of July 21. Estimated adult weight: Medium-to-Large sized) Breed Mix: Lab & Great Pyrenees Mix (Guess) Why We Love Cottontop If you are looking for a total lovebug who lives for snuggles, Cottontop is your boy! Found abandoned at a local nursing home, this sweet pup didn't let a rough start dampen his spirit—if anything, it just made him appreciate human affection even more. Cottontop is an absolute people-pleaser who would happily spend his entire day curled up in your lap soaking up all the love and pets you can give. He is on the calmer side for a puppy, bringing a gentle, easygoing vibe wherever he goes. He gets along great with other dogs, and because he is still so young and impressionable, he will easily learn to thrive alongside children and dog-friendly cats. Home Manners & Training Cottontop has been staying in our rescue building, so he is already accustomed to crate routine! While he isn't fully housebroken yet, he has a wonderful head start on his outdoor habits—he understands the assignment and goes potty immediately whenever he steps outside. He is a blank canvas ready for basic leash and house manners, but with his gentle nature and desire to be close to his humans, training him will be a rewarding bonding experience. Are you Cottontop's perfect match? Cottontop has a big heart and so much love left to give. If youre ready to pamper a sweet, cuddly boy who will cherish every second spent by your side, Cottontop is ready to cuddle his way right into your heart! Video of Cottontop from July 7: https://youtube.com/shorts/MEZrSV0Q4Bk?is=__7cvLs79oCSCwVn His adoption includes: Fully Vetted: Cottontop is already neutered and up-to-date on all his essential vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella). Prevention: He has been dewormed and is kept on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Safety First: To ensure he is in tip-top shape for his new family, he will be microchipped and receive a fresh fecal exam and a certified Health Certificate. All performed within 10 days of his transport date. Adoption Details Cottontop's adoption fee is $1,200. This fee is all-inclusive, covering his neuter, all veterinary care listed above, and his seat on a professional transport service dedicated to getting him safely to your area. Apply First: Please start by filling out our adoption application here: https://form.jotform.com/243134969050053 Follow Up: After submitting your application, feel free to reach out to us via email at luckypawsdoghouse@gmail.com or via text/call at 580-257-0622. **Solo is currently being fostered in Houston TX but is available for out of state adoption via rescue transport at no added fee to adopters. We offer video chat for you to meet your pup prior to committing to adoption, and have a guaranteed return process for all our dogs** A young pup rescued from the streets of Houston Tx, this sweet handsome furkid is looking for his furever home and family! Solo is a younger dog, believed to be under 2 years of age. He was found as a stray roaming the streets of Houston by kind Samaritans who kept him safe, but didn't have space or funds to give him a quality of life. So he came to us, where he is learning the ropes of how to be a dog, enjoy the acreage and have fun with other dogs. He gets along great with other dogs, and is super friendly and sweet. He likes to play, though sometimes he confuses their appendages with toys and is very puppy like in that he uses his mouth to play a lot. Of course he's quite gentle, but it's rather funny to watch the dogs respond to him thinking their tail is a rope toy lol. He's respectful when they set boundaries and doesn't mind sharing at all. He is still gaining weight as when he was found he had worms and other medical issues that needed clearing before he could gain weight but is expected to be a medium sized dog between 55-60lbs. He is still learning all the proper ways to be a pup in a home, like he doesn't fully understand toys all the way yet. It took him some time as you could tell he was unsure what they were, and he definitely isn't fully housebroken. But he is kennel trained and very responsive to all our training so we feel it is only a matter of time and consistency before he is 100%. We've only been working with him for a month and he has come so far! Solo will come fully vetted and health certified. Contact at MokasMission@Gmail.com for more information.

Story
🌟 KANE — THE GOLDEN STANDARD 🌟 Now 10 months old, Kane came to us from a home with uncertainty, not being able to rely on the humans providing his care simply put, the situation was too much for his tender young soul. 💔 Kane has been thriving on one of our board members “rescue farm”— running through the fields with a large pack of dogs of all sizes, ages and abilities. He is truly learning what it means to be a dog, and finally understanding what it feels like to be a treasured member of a family and a pack. 🌾🐾 🐾His foster family says he is “the best puppy we’ve ever fostered.” That’s how special he is. 💛 Kane is a dream golden: ✨ Sweet, gentle, soft. ✨ Silly, playful, gloriously squishy ✨ Respectful with dogs, livestock and cats, and good with older kids - teens and up. He is finally breaking free of his fear of contact and opening up to human love, but it has been a slow process - truly, he has preferred the company of other dogs, but he's getting there. Kane needs time to trust humans, and will need a family who can appreciate he the rule of 333 - he will need the time to decompress and relax into a new family situation. Because of his past, we have determined Kane will thrive in a home with these requirements in place: ✔️ Another confident canine companion to show him the ropes ✔️ Respectful children (ages 13+) ✔️ A very secure fenced yard (6 ft) for zoomies and golden grins He’s not built for chaos, but for love — steady, soft, patient love. The real kind. The forever kind. 💛 🐾 Please only apply if your home fits the requirements described above, we are unwavering on these guidelines. We place our dogs where they will truly feel safe, flourish and be loved. Our commitment is to the dogs in our care and we respectfully will decline any home that doesn’t meet Kane’s needs.🧡 Kane is current on vaccinations appropriate for his age, Microchipped and will be adopted to a home with a securely fenced yard for safe playtime, and a contract to ensure neuter by 12 months of age.

Story
Hi, my name is Brax! I’m approximately seven months old and weigh around 35 pounds. My people think I may be a German Short Haired Pointer/Blue Heeler mix-but whatever I am, I’m 100% lovable! I have a heart as big as Texas and truly love everyone I meet. I was found roaming a neighborhood with a few other dogs, with no owner in sight. Thankfully, a kind person stopped to help me, and now I’m safe and ready to find my forever home. I’m so grateful for my second chance! I’m a well-mannered boy, both house trained and crate trained. I have never chewed on anything I was not suppose to, but I have plenty of toys in my foster home. I walk on a leash and absolutely love getting out and about—whether it’s a neighborhood stroll or a future hiking adventure (hint hint) I am a smart pup and already know a few commands. I’m dog friendly and would be happy to have a furry sibling, but I’d also do just fine soaking up all the love as your one and only. I have been socialized with both large and small breed dogs. I have never been around cats so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. My people describe me as sweet, energetic and well-rounded—the kind of dog who fits right into a family and makes every day a little brighter. I might be better suited for kids eight and up because I am a rambunctious puppy that could accidentally know over a smaller child. I have been around children starting with the age of 9. There are nine grandkids that come to visit. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped—ready to go home with you! Could I be your perfect match? Please email adopt@thezoeygroup.com for application instructions.

Story
Hello, my name is Snow! I am approximately four years old and weigh 80 pounds. I am a beautiful girl. My people think I may be a Retriever mix. My mom looked like a Golden retriever but it’s anyone’s guess who my dad is. I’m a very loving girl. I’m very playful and get along well with other dogs. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I would do well with an active family. I would love to go on walks and be out and about. I ride well in the car and would love to try some hikes and be one with nature! I am house trained, but I have never been in a crate. It hasn’t been necessary where I am. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but I warm up pretty quickly. I am a smart girl and learn things quickly. I will be a great addition to any family and will bring them many years of happiness. I am healthy, spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Please email adopt@thezoeygroup.com for application instructions.
