Story
This lovely lady is Kinzie. She’s approximately 6 years old and 16 lbs. Kinzie found herself in a high intake shelter in Texas after her owners surrendered her. We can’t understand why because she’s just a dream! Kinzie is crate trained, dog friendly, playful, and believes every end table is just a pedestal for her seat herself upon! She’s just the cutest thing. Kinzie is seeking a retirement home with plenty of plush beds, toys to toss around, and laps to snooze on. Kinzie is in foster in Castle Rock, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/kinzie You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
Max is a nearly five-year-old male Chihuahua who has been neutered and microchipped, ensuring his health and safety. He is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, prioritizing his well-being. Max is well-trained, being both kennel trained and doggie door trained, which facilitates his comfort and convenience. While Max generally gets along well with other dogs, he has exhibited marking behavior indoors, suggesting a possible need for additional training and attention in this area. Despite this behavior, Max is known to be friendly and sociable with other dogs, demonstrating his adaptability and potential for positive interactions. Max may display initial nervousness in new situations or around unfamiliar people, but with time and patience, he warms up and shows his affectionate and loving nature. This indicates that Max benefits from a supportive and understanding environment where he can gradually acclimate and feel secure. Overall, Max is a charming and loyal companion who, with continued training and care, can thrive in a loving home environment. Story
Roxy is a spayed Chihuahua  female, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped. She was surrendered from Brush PD following her owner's passing. Roxy is a timid soul who is very cautious around new people and situations. She requires patience and a gentle approach as she navigates through her fears. Despite her initial shyness, Roxy longs for love and closeness, often seeking comfort by sitting beside her human on the couch. She is well-behaved and has been trained to be comfortable in a house, crate, and with a doggie door. Roxy is sociable with other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine companion. However, due to her timid nature, Roxy is best suited for a household without young children. A setting with teenagers or adults who can understand and respect her boundaries would be ideal. With time, dedication, and consistent love, Roxy has the potential to bloom into a loyal and affectionate companion, bringing joy and warmth to her forever family's life. Please fill out an application at www.fureverdogdenver.com  If you would like more information or to meet her please call the rescue at (720) 588-6809 ##2062760##
