Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Honey    Honey is a beautiful Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who is approximately two years old and ready to find her forever family. This little girl made the journey from Puerto Rico to Central Florida through one of our trusted rescue partners, all in hopes of finding the loving home she deserves. Honey is friendly, affectionate, and truly enjoys being around her people. She has a loving personality and bonds quickly with those who show her kindness. We believe she was once someone’s pet before being abandoned when her family could no longer care for her. Despite that rough start, Honey has remained sweet and trusting. She walks nicely on a leash and is crate trained, which makes her an easy addition to many households. She enjoys getting out for walks and being part of the action with her humans. Honey does have a bit of a voice — she is a barker like most small dogs and will alert you that someone is at the door or outside. Also she does howl or “bay” when she hears other dogs barking. Because of this, she would likely do best in a single-family home rather than an apartment or townhome where she would share walls with neighbors  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 4, 2026, 11:14 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Looking for a loyal little shadow who loves cuddles and kisses? Liora might be your perfect match! This affectionate 4-year-old Chihuahua mix is happiest when she’s close to her person and would love a home where she can share lots of snuggles and cozy naps.   Liora’s Highlights: •  Very affectionate and loves giving kisses •  Knows sit, stay, and stop • Crate trained • Enjoys enrichment games and treat puzzles • Loves being near her person and cuddling     -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------3/6 foster update: Liora weighs just over 20 pounds and has a sturdy little build, making her a wonderful medium-size companion. In her foster home, she has proven to be well behaved and not destructive—she doesn’t chew on things she shouldn’t and is very easy to live with. She does pull strongly on the leash, especially for a senior like me without a lot of strength. Loud outside noises (including cars zooming by) scare her, and she will suddenly pull away and can easily pull you off your feet. She’s  a smart girl who already knows several commands and is eager to please. When it’s time to relax, Liora is more than happy to curl up beside you for a nap. Liora can sometimes be startled by loud noises like passing cars or windy conditions during walks, so she’ll do best with a patient adopter who can help her feel safe and secure. She has not been around other dogs yet, and with her skittishness, I would recommend her as the only dog or with a calm, submissive canine. A fenced backyard to keep her safely within her boundaries would be ideal as she is startled by new sounds and people.  Liora is a gentle, loving girl whose tail is almost always wagging. She simply wants to be close to her person and share her affection. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with love, Liora may be the perfect match for you.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 6:38 am

Apply to Adopt Me! NOTE:  Clint Must Be Adopted With Sidney Meet Clint - a very cute, playful and happy boy. Clint is a 6-year-old Chi mix weighing 13 1/2 pounds. He loves playing with his foster fur buddies in the yard chasing each other and doing zoomies. Clint is so affectionate and a little kissy face once he warms up to you and steals your heart. He loves to cuddle right next to you with three of his other fur friends on your lap. Clint came from a sad situation where the first half of his life he knew very little of the outside world. He is incredibly smart and loves to work, so this little guy would love a home and job! His greatest love is chewing on his knuckle bones and he will do anything for a treat. Clint has been doing very well with his house training and is now house trained. Clint is fearful and has not learned to walk on a leash as of yet, so he does need patience and training for that. And since he doesn't walk on leash yet, he does need a fenced yard so he can run and do his business. He is a good car rider, riding quietly. He sleeps quietly all night and needs to cuddle with other dogs. He has met a cat and was scared of her. Clint is shy at first meeting, but warms up with time, love and cookies. He is a great little dog and looks forward to his patient snd loving, forever home. Clint is bonded with Sidney and they must be adopted together.  If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Clint and Sidney, complete an app and tell us more about you. Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Brandie, an approx. 6mo, 12lb. chihuahua mix. This sweet girl has had a rough life in her short years. She lived in a trailer that burned down, resulting in her and a several other dogs to then live in a broken down car. But now she's learning to live her best life! Brandie is very smart. She does appear housebroken, but will also use pee pads if needed. She gets along great with all people, other dogs, and even does well with cats. She enjoys playing with toys. But her favorite thing is getting cuddles from her person. Brandie is not a big barker, but may join in when other dogs are vocal. She does not walk on a harness/leash yet, and her adopter must be patient with her as she learns; she just freezes when on leash. For that reason, we are requiring a secure fenced yard for her. She is a young and moderately active girl, so a family who will be active with her would be best. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Brandie, complete and app and tell us more about you.    March 7, 2026, 8:41 am
