Apply to Adopt Me! NOTE:  Clint Must Be Adopted With Sidney Meet Clint - a very cute, playful and happy boy. Clint is a 6-year-old Chi mix weighing 13 1/2 pounds. He loves playing with his foster fur buddies in the yard chasing each other and doing zoomies. Clint is so affectionate and a little kissy face once he warms up to you and steals your heart. He loves to cuddle right next to you with three of his other fur friends on your lap. Clint came from a sad situation where the first half of his life he knew very little of the outside world. He is incredibly smart and loves to work, so this little guy would love a home and job! His greatest love is chewing on his knuckle bones and he will do anything for a treat. Clint has been doing very well with his house training and is now house trained. Clint is fearful and has not learned to walk on a leash as of yet, so he does need patience and training for that. And since he doesn't walk on leash yet, he does need a fenced yard so he can run and do his business. He is a good car rider, riding quietly. He sleeps quietly all night and needs to cuddle with other dogs. He has met a cat and was scared of her. Clint is shy at first meeting, but warms up with time, love and cookies. He is a great little dog and looks forward to his patient snd loving, forever home. Clint is bonded with Sidney and they must be adopted together.  If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Clint and Sidney, complete an app and tell us more about you. Story
Apply to Adopt Me! NOTE: Sidney Must Be Adopted with Clint Meet Sidney a young, very handsome boy who is approximately three years old. He’s a long-haired Chihuahua mix. Sydney had a hard start in his young life so when he meets someone new, he is very shy scared and may run and hide to feel safe. After time and patience and understanding he now feels safe with his foster mom and his first siblings. Sidney has become such a loving, affectionate and happy little boy he learned to trust and is now blossoming into his sweet little self It took some time to get here, but it’s wonderful watching his transformation. He loves playing in the yard with his Clint and his fur buddies, wrestling and doing zoomies. We are working on his house training so he wears a belly band when running free in the house. So he is a work in progress. He is not trained on a leash at this time. We are working on it so he will need a fenced yard to play and do his business. He is crate trained and the open crate was his safe space when he first came to his foster. Sidney sleeps with his foster mom, giving her good night kisses and cuddling close to her and then sleeps quietly all night. Sidney will need some time to adjust to someone new and until he feels safe. Clint is Sidney‘s best buddy in the whole world so they need to be adopted together. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Sidney and Clint, complete an app and tell us more about your family. Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Brandie, an approx. 6mo, 12lb. chihuahua mix. This sweet girl has had a rough life in her short years. She lived in a trailer that burned down, resulting in her and a several other dogs to then live in a broken down car. But now she's learning to live her best life! Brandie is very smart. She does appear housebroken, but will also use pee pads if needed. She gets along great with all people, other dogs, and even does well with cats. She enjoys playing with toys. But her favorite thing is getting cuddles from her person. Brandie is not a big barker, but may join in when other dogs are vocal. She does not walk on a harness/leash yet, and her adopter must be patient with her as she learns; she just freezes when on leash. For that reason, we are requiring a secure fenced yard for her. She is a young and moderately active girl, so a family who will be active with her would be best. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Brandie, complete and app and tell us more about you.    March 4, 2026, 7:44 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Ranger! This approx. 2yo, 25lb. boy is such a sweet and polite boy. We believe he may be a mix of several different breeds, including Jack Russell Terrier and Chihuahua. Despite being found homeless on the side of a country road, he is very well house trained.  Car rides are his ideal nap time and he'll sleep the entire time he is in the car. He also sleeps great through the night. Ranger needs training with leash walking, as he tends to walk side to side and will pull if he gets excited or distracted. Once he has tired himself out, his walking improves. He is AMAZING with all people including kids; he does have a prey drive so he should not be in a home with cats or other small animals. He needs to be an only dog, as he is reactive to other dogs. He is so patient and so sweet, and always wants to make new friends! Toys or balls don’t interest Ranger, but he is obsessed with teaser cat toys (the ones on the string). Ranger is medium energy and has a great off switch, meaning he will be chill when you’re watching a movie on the couch and he will be ready to go when it's time to go on a long walk. Ranger is a very comfortable dog that enjoys just about anything. He is eager to please and a very fast learner. He always does a little dance whenever he is excited to see you. If you have been waiting for a medium sized dog with a big and loving personality in your life, Ranger is the dog for you! We don’t know what Ranger’s past was like, but with an active family who can commit to training to help him get over his reactivity to other dogs, and perfect his leash walking, he will be the best dog he can be. A fenced yard would be ideal, but also plenty of daily leash walks will suit him just fine too. Ranger does experience intermittent bouts of coughing from a suspected collapsing trachea which does not alter his day-to-day activities, and he is on no meds. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and think you have the perfect home for Ranger, complete an application and tell us about your family. Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Shay aka Grover. I am an approx. 5-year-old, 10lb. male chihuahua mix. I came out of a hoarding situation so I am learning a lot of new things. I am working on my crate training and am doing really well on my leash walking. I am house trained and I absolutely love car rides and am very comfortable riding in my doggy car seat. Stroller rides with my foster siblings make for a good day for me too. I go to restaurants with my foster mom and sit very quietly in my stroller. I'm very playful and would really love a playmate my size  and energy level to keep me company and share in the fun. However, I have to be honest - I might not do well with small kids because I can be a bit mouthy sometimes. I'm also learning not to chew on everything! I am given hard bones to chew because soft toys tend to obviously be my enemy because I want to destroy them and then I could swallow something I shouldn't. My foster mom keeps things I shouldn't get into away from my reach and I am getting better everyday. I am a great sleeper - sleeping all night long in bed with my foster mom and doggy siblings. I am a total cuddle bug. Where you go, I go and will be your shadow. I am not a big barker, I don't mind baths, vet visits or nail trims. When I do not want to do something, I cutely fall down like a dead weight. I would love a fenced yard to run and play in, but as long as you are active and can take me on several walks a day, I might consider you too. It is required that I have a fur sibling buddy around my size to play with, which will also help me feel comfortable in my new home. If you're looking for a snuggle bug who needs a friend to match his playful energy, Shay might be the guy for you. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area, and think you have the perfect home for Shay, complete an app and tell us more about you.   February 26, 2026, 8:55 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Honey    Honey is a beautiful Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who is approximately two years old and ready to find her forever family. This little girl made the journey from Puerto Rico to Central Florida through one of our trusted rescue partners, all in hopes of finding the loving home she deserves. Honey is friendly, affectionate, and truly enjoys being around her people. She has a loving personality and bonds quickly with those who show her kindness. We believe she was once someone’s pet before being abandoned when her family could no longer care for her. Despite that rough start, Honey has remained sweet and trusting. She walks nicely on a leash and is crate trained, which makes her an easy addition to many households. She enjoys getting out for walks and being part of the action with her humans. Honey does have a bit of a voice — she is a barker like most small dogs and will alert you that someone is at the door or outside. Also she does howl or “bay” when she hears other dogs barking. Because of this, she would likely do best in a single-family home rather than an apartment or townhome where she would share walls with neighbors  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 4, 2026, 11:14 am
