Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Shadow is a 1yo, approx. 7lb. male chihuahua mix who was abandoned by his owner. Even so, he loves being with his person. He takes a bit to warm up to new people, but once he does he loves affection and belly rubs, and loves to give kisses. He is mostly house trained and is learning that the leash means go potty. He is crate trained, walks well on a leash (may pull a bit at first) and rides well in a car. He does have a lot of energy so he needs someone who is active with him and has a fenced yard for him to run and play in. Shadow hasn’t been around other dogs, does seem interested in them but not aggressive. He does well with cats. He can be growly at first when meeting new people, has some separation anxiety and can be vocal when left alone. Loud noises scare him. Shadow loves small toys, especially rope toys. But keep your shoes up or he will think they are there for him. We are preferring an adult-only home for him, but if the home has kids they should be older and respectful. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Shadow, please complete an app and tell us more about you. January 15, 2026, 3:00 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Sidney a young and very handsome boy. He is an approx. 3yo, 8lb. long-hair chihuahua mix with shiny brown and black fur. When he first meets you, he is very shy and scared, running away and hiding for safety. But after some time, he now feels safe with his foster mom and fur siblings, where he realizes love, warmth and contentment. He is now even doing zoomies! He gets along so well and loves each of his foster siblings, all small dogs like him, and they play, wrestle and chase each other in the yard. Cuddling is his favorite past time. Although it took some time, he has learned how to trust, and his personality is really coming out. He is house trained as long as he is taken out on a regular basis. He may still make the occasional mistake though. He hasn't learned to walk on leash yet, and that is a work in progress, so for that reason he does need a fenced yard. He is not a big barker and rides well in a car. He is not a big player with toys, but does enjoy chew bones. He loves to sleep cuddled up right next to his foster mom where it’s warm and cozy. He insists on getting lots of kisses before going to bed, then he sleeps quietly all through the night. He would love to find a home with other dogs, cuddling with them and making him feel safe. Sidney has bonded in his foster home with Clint, so we are requiring they be adopted together. Sidney will need someone who can give him time and patience, and not pressure him until he is ready. Once he has that time to settle in and feel as if he can trust you, he will be your best friend, and you will find out what a good boy he is. Due to his skittish-at-first nature, we are preferring an all adult home for him. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Sidney, complete an app and tell us more about your family. Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Clint - a very cute, playful and happy boy.  Clint is a 6-year-old Chi mix weighing 13 1/2 pounds. He loves playing with his foster fur buddies in the yard chasing each other and doing zoomies. Clint is so affectionate and a little kissy face. He loves to cuddle right next to you with three of his other fur friends on your lap. He just loves other dogs. He is friendly to all and respectful of their needs. He is a bubbly, good natured little guy. His greatest love is chewing on his knuckle bones and he will do anything for a treat. Clint has been doing very well with his house training and is now house trained. Clint is fearful and has not learned to walk on a leash as of yet, so he does need patience and training for that. And since he doesn't walk on leash yet, he does need a fenced yard so he can run and do his business. He is a good car rider, riding quietly. He sleeps quietly all night and needs to cuddle with other dogs. He would thrive in a household with fun active dogs. Clint has bonded in his foster home with Sidney, so we are requiring that they be adopted together.  Clint is shy at first meeting, but warms up quickly. He is a great little dog and looks forward to his loving, forever home. He’s a little love bug. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Clint, complete an app and tell us more about you. January 11, 2026, 9:03 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Brantley is an approx. 1-year-old, 16lb. male chihuahua mix who is a joyful, affectionate pup bursting with classic puppy energy and curiosity. He absolutely loves his toys and proudly carries them around, often bringing them straight to your bed to share his fun. He is fully potty trained, rarely barks, and settling easily into daily routines. Brantley does wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys their company, whether at home or out on walks. When walking, he’s friendly, social, and polite with both people and dogs, making outings enjoyable and stress-free. At mealtime, Brantley isn’t picky at all, though he has a healthy appetite and would benefit from using a slow feeder dish. He rides calmly in the car and does well as long as he’s safely secured with a tether. We are requiring a secure fenced yard for him because he is young, agile and love to chase squirrels. He will chase an indoor cat to play but does not harm them. One of his sweetest traits is how affectionate he is—Brantley loves to be near his people at all times and is happiest when close by. He’s a true snuggle bug who shows his love by gently resting his chin on your lap, soaking up attention and companionship. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Brantley, complete an app and tell us more about you.    January 17, 2026, 5:54 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet little Miss Georgia, a 6-year-old, 11 1/2 pound chihuahua mix of pure sweetness. Georgia is a happy little girl. She has beautiful white fur and big brown eyes. She has such a kind gentleness about her. She is shy initially, but because she is so trusting she easily becomes affectionate and loving and a little cuddle bug. Georgia gets along with all her foster fur siblings. She loves to wrestle with them and run around in the yard. She loves chewing on bones and has no problem sharing them. She will need a fenced yard as she is not yet leash trained. It seems she is fearful of the leash for right now. She sleeps quietly all night with two or three of her other foster buddies all cuddled together. She loves being with them, but I think she really loves her people. She wants to be the one to sit next to you and watch TV, to get the kisses and hugs she’s so craves. Georgia is house trained and she sits quietly on car rides. Georgia is a playful happy little girl. This good girl will give her people so much love and affection. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Georgia, complete an app and tell us more about you.  January 12, 2026, 2:02 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Taco, the sweetest little cuddle bug you’ll ever know! Taco is a 2–3yr old Chihuahua mix, weighing 11.9 pounds, and he is truly made of love. Though he was found as a stray (likely abandoned), he has nothing but affection to give and is blossoming more every day in his foster home. Taco’s favorite place in the world is right next to his person. He’s a devoted cuddle companion who loves to be touching you — whether that’s curled up on the couch, snoozing in his cozy living room bed, or sleeping peacefully through the night in bed with his foster mom. He doesn’t stir in the morning until she does and is an all-around perfect bedtime buddy. He gets along well with other dogs, particularly those who are friendly but also understand personal space. He’s gained confidence from having a calm, confident foster fur-sister as a role model and has started initiating play with her. While Taco was initially unsure about leash walking, he’s made great progress and now happily looks forward to his twice-daily walks. His confidence continues to grow, especially when he’s out exploring the world with someone he trusts. Taco can be a bit skittish around new people and needs a little time to warm up, so he’s looking for a patient, gentle family who will let him settle in at his own pace. A home with no kids or older, respectful children would be ideal. Once Taco bonds with you, he becomes an incredibly loyal, attentive little companion — he listens well, corrects easily, and clearly wants to please his person. Taco can also be nervous during car rides, but with gentle reassurance and repetition, he’s making steady progress and improving each time. He’ll thrive with a patient family who can help him feel safe and supported while he continues to build confidence in the car. He’s fully potty trained, doesn’t need a crate, and has no separation anxiety when left alone. He enjoys time in the backyard, especially when he can stretch out and soak up the sun. He loves toys, is very treat motivated, and has a sweet, submissive nature paired with growing confidence. Taco’s happy place is his little bed in the living room, where he can nap comfortably while still being part of whatever is going on — a perfect balance of independence and togetherness. This gentle, loving boy has so much devotion to give and truly deserves a forever family who will cherish him as much as he will cherish them. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a champion cuddler, and a soft soul to share your life with, Taco may be your perfect match. We are preferring a fenced yard for him since he loves to sun bathe.  Taco is heartworm positive at this time, and is on the slow kill protocol, which we can explain that process to any interested applicant. He can enjoy regular activities. Heart worm disease is contracted from an infected mosquito and can not be transmitted to another dog. It was just discovered that Taco has a heart murmur, which could be related to his heartworm positive status. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Taco, please complete an application and tell us more about your family.
