Story
Minnie is about 4.5 years old. She is incredibly loving and cute. She loves to cuddle and is very affectionate. She is better with a family with no other pets or small children. She is pretty good at using pee pads but I would not let her roam free on carpet. She is jealous of other dog so she is better off with a someone with no other pets.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Remmie!  Remmie is a sweet senior Chihuahua mix with a stunning brindle coat and the most adorable little sugar face that will melt your heart. He has a gentle, loving personality and enjoys both human companionship and the company of other dogs.  Remmie is friendly, playful, and loves going out for walks. He does great on a leash and enjoys getting out to explore, making him a wonderful walking buddy. While he has been around children as young as four years old and has done well, we are hoping to find Remmie a quiet home with no children or older children only, where he can truly relax and enjoy his golden years.  He came to Pet Rescue By Judy through no fault of his own—sadly, his previous owners were moving into a home where pets were not allowed. Despite this change, Remmie has remained a happy, affectionate little guy who is ready to start his next chapter.  Remmie is looking for a loving forever home where he can be cherished, spoiled, and given a peaceful place to enjoy his senior years. If you’re searching for a loyal companion with a sweet soul and lots of love to give, Remmie may be the perfect match for you.    Foster Update: Remmie would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys having company and getting out for walks. He is doing great in our home—fully house trained, sleeping through the night, and settling in nicely. He prefers to be in the same room as his people and may whimper if left alone, as he truly enjoys being near his humans. Remmie loves food and is always happy to make new friends, both people and dogs. He can get excited when meeting new dogs, so we recommend a home with a dog his size, a larger dog, or a home where he can be the only pet. Overall, Remmie is a sweet, social boy who will thrive in a home where he can enjoy companionship, routine, and regular walks. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Joey   Joey is a sweet Chihuahua mix—definitely larger than your typical Chihuahua—and while we’re not quite sure what other breed is in his mix, we are sure he has a gentle heart. He came to Pet Rescue By Judy after being lovingly surrendered when his owner could no longer care for him due to health reasons. 1.21.26 Foster update:   Joey is coming out of his shell and has what we call happy feet!   He gets so excited when it is meal time or time to go outside.     He does need to be in his crate if he cannot be supervised as he thinks nothing of lifting his leg inside.    When he is outside he does know to do his business whether he is on leash or loose in the fenced yard.   His favorite thing to do outside is SNIFF.    We can't help but wonder if there is some hound in him because he wants to sniff everything.    He seems to have some type of allergy as he has clear discharge at times but we have been giving him allergy pills and that has helped greatly.     He does like to chew on nylabones and his crate is still his very favorite place. Joey’s past has shaped him into a slightly shy and cautious boy. He was used to having just one person and spent a lot of time crated because of his owner’s limitations. Becuse of this, he is not housetrained nor is he accustomed to going outside for potty, walks, or playtime...something his fosters are working on. Having other dogs in his foster home is helping Joey to model after:) At 18 lbs, he is awkward to hold, so would not consider him a lap dog...but he loves to be near his people.  The good news is that Joey does very well in a crate and finds comfort there. Even more heart-melting is how much he wants to be part of whatever is going on around him—he watches with interest and clearly wants connection, even if he’s not quite sure how to ask for it yet. Joey wants to be loved and, with a little patience and understanding, he will blossom into a devoted companion. He would do best in a calm, quiet home with no/older respectful children who can give him the space and reassurance he needs to build confidence and come out of his shell. Having another dog in the home to buddy with and model after would be ideal. New owners should be prepared for continued potty reinforcement, walking on leash, and outside playtime. Owner(s) who are home most of the day and who are steady on their feet (as he can be underfoot wanting to stay near you) is best for this sweet boy.        Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 21, 2026, 3:27 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Shadow is a 1yo, approx. 7lb. male chihuahua mix who was abandoned by his owner. Even so, he loves being with his person. He takes a bit to warm up to new people, but once he does he loves affection and belly rubs, and loves to give kisses. He is mostly house trained and is learning that the leash means go potty. He is crate trained, walks well on a leash (may pull a bit at first) and rides well in a car. He does have a lot of energy so he needs someone who is active with him and has a fenced yard for him to run and play in. Shadow hasn’t been around other dogs, does seem interested in them but not aggressive. He does well with cats. He can be growly at first when meeting new people, has some separation anxiety and can be vocal when left alone. Loud noises scare him. Shadow loves small toys, especially rope toys. But keep your shoes up or he will think they are there for him. We are preferring an adult-only home for him, but if the home has kids they should be older and respectful. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Shadow, please complete an app and tell us more about you. January 15, 2026, 3:00 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Brantley is an approx. 1-year-old, 16lb. male chihuahua mix who is a joyful, affectionate pup bursting with classic puppy energy and curiosity. He absolutely loves his toys and proudly carries them around, often bringing them straight to your bed to share his fun. He is fully potty trained, rarely barks, and settling easily into daily routines. Brantley does wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys their company, whether at home or out on walks. When walking, he’s friendly, social, and polite with both people and dogs, making outings enjoyable and stress-free. At mealtime, Brantley isn’t picky at all, though he has a healthy appetite and would benefit from using a slow feeder dish. He rides calmly in the car and does well as long as he’s safely secured with a tether. We are requiring a secure fenced yard for him because he is young, agile and love to chase squirrels. He will chase an indoor cat to play but does not harm them. One of his sweetest traits is how affectionate he is—Brantley loves to be near his people at all times and is happiest when close by. He’s a true snuggle bug who shows his love by gently resting his chin on your lap, soaking up attention and companionship. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Brantley, complete an app and tell us more about you.    January 17, 2026, 5:54 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Sidney a young and very handsome boy. He is an approx. 3yo, 8lb. long-hair chihuahua mix with shiny brown and black fur. When he first meets you, he is very shy and scared, running away and hiding for safety. But after some time, he now feels safe with his foster mom and fur siblings, where he realizes love, warmth and contentment. He is now even doing zoomies! He gets along so well and loves each of his foster siblings, all small dogs like him, and they play, wrestle and chase each other in the yard. Cuddling is his favorite past time. Although it took some time, he has learned how to trust, and his personality is really coming out. He is house trained as long as he is taken out on a regular basis. He may still make the occasional mistake though. He hasn't learned to walk on leash yet, and that is a work in progress, so for that reason he does need a fenced yard. He is not a big barker and rides well in a car. He is not a big player with toys, but does enjoy chew bones. He loves to sleep cuddled up right next to his foster mom where it’s warm and cozy. He insists on getting lots of kisses before going to bed, then he sleeps quietly all through the night. Sidney needs to be in a home with another dog that will cuddle with him and make him feel safe.  Sidney will need someone who can give him time and patience, and not pressure him until he is ready. Once he has that time to settle in and feel as if he can trust you, he will be your best friend, and you will find out what a good boy he is. Due to his skittish-at-first nature, we are preferring an all adult home for him. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Sidney, complete an app and tell us more about your family.
