Story
Max came to FARM in need of a forever home. He is a one year old, nine pound neutered male Terrier/Chihuahua mix. Max came to us not knowing much, anxious and unsure of himself. He quickly grew to trust his fosters and has become a very sweet, loving little fella. Max is eager to please his fosters and is happiest by your side. He is non dominant, and follows along behind the two other dogs in the home. He is learning to be on a leash, and we are working on housetraining. He does seem to know how to use pee pads. Max could stand to gain a couple pounds. We suspect his first chapter was one of benign neglect. We are very eager for him to find a home where he can be adored. Meet and greets for approved adopters will be by appointment. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a dog application which can be found at http://fallstonanimalrescue.org/adopt/ and e-mail it to fallstonrescue@aol.com.

Story
This little guy will break your heart, then crawl right into it. Sunny was found as a stray, thin and obviously not well cared for. His teeth were so bad that he didn’t want to be touched. He was in so much pain. Out vet took a chest x-ray to look at the condition of his heart and discovered he had been shot with a BB. When he first arrived at FLFO, he was reluctant to come near anyone. But we could tell he wanted to be loved. Once the bad teeth were removed and the infection treated, he’s now a complete lovebug. He wants to snuggle next to you and be held. The shelter estimated he was 16 years old based on his physical condition, but we think he’s younger. We’re estimating him to be around 12. Sunny loves long walks and has great stamina. FLFO requires a home visit therefore adopters must be within 40 miles of Baldwin MD. Please complete an application found on this site: https://www.flfosenioranimals.org/adoption

Story
PLEASE READ ENTIRE BIO TO THE BOTTOM Opie and Pearl are 2 gorgeous chi/terrier mix pups that are as sweet as can be. Opie is the male and he weighs approximately 14 lbs. Pearl is the female, and she weighs right at 9 lbs. We believe they were born around September 30th, which will put them around 4 months old. We do not believe they will get much bigger than they are now as they have already hit their growth spurt. They are siblings but they are not bonded. One of our volunteers was driving down the road in Texas, by the Mexico border, when these 2 puppies ran out in the road and almost got ran over. They were not street smart. Our volunteer followed the puppies and found the home they belonged to. We found out these 2 puppies (and the momma dog) belonged to a couple who had gotten them for their adult autistic son. The puppies and mom had never seen a veterinarian, and they did not have a fence to secure them, so they would just open the door and let the dogs out to go running the streets and neighborhood. Thankfully, they agreed to surrender the puppies to us, but unfortunately, they would not let us have the mom. The mom weighed around 18 lbs. These pups are very sweet, and very submissive. They act shy, but once you baby talk them, they become jello and just start wiggling their butts, rolling over for tummy rubs and just melt. Pearl is a little more outgoing than Opie, but they are both learning to love humans. They love other dogs and get along great with them! They have met cats and do fine with them. They have toys and enjoy playing with them, but they enjoy mischief a little bit more. When they are in their crate, they think the best game is which one can pull more stuff into the crate from outside of the crate. Pearl and Opie love sleeping on the bed/couch! They are crate trained, and working on full house training. We recommend kids 5+ years for these 2 as they may shy away from younger children. If you’re looking for a smaller dog that doesn’t shed too much, enjoy being held, will be the most loyal companions and follow you everywhere and cuddle when you let them, please look no further than Opie or Pearl. These babies are FIXED (spayed/neutered), current on parvo/distemper vaccinations, current on bordatella, current on annual rabies vaccine, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, current on dewormer, microchipped, fecal test, will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian. Story
WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Lucy – Tiny Thief, Big Heart 🐾💛 2 years old • 12 pounds of pure personality This little rascal is Lucy — and she may be small, but she’s packed full of sweetness, spunk, and just a dash of mischievous charm. Lucy came from a hoarding situation, so she’s still learning all about the good life most dogs take for granted — things like kind words, soft beds, gentle pets, and treats that don’t have to be shared with 50 of your closest canine neighbors. She’s discovering that being a dog can actually be pretty wonderful. At first, Lucy can be a little shy. New people and new places take her a bit of time to warm up to. But once she feels safe? Out comes the happy, goofy, secretly hilarious little girl hiding inside. She’s house trained, crate trained, and not food aggressive. On walks she’s more “sniff investigator” than marathon athlete — she doesn’t walk great on a leash... yet, because she’s too busy trying to smell every single leaf, blade of grass, and mysterious sidewalk crumb. Priorities! Lucy enjoys being outside, soaking up the sun, and observing the world from her favorite perch. She’s slowly gaining confidence in the house and has recently started exploring more on her own — a HUGE milestone for a girl who once didn’t know what home life even meant. She isn’t overly social with bigger dogs and would likely be happiest as an only dog or with calm dogs her own size. Loud, boisterous canine roommates can feel a little overwhelming to her. Now for the BEST part about Lucy… Lucy is a THIEF. 😄 Her foster brother Buddy leaves toys scattered everywhere, and Lucy has developed a top-secret operation. When Buddy isn’t looking, she sneaks off her perch, carefully steals one of his toys, and proudly carries it back to her spot like she just pulled off the heist of the century. No remorse. Just adorable criminal activity. And as if that wasn’t cute enough, Lucy has one more irresistible trick up her tiny sleeve — she does the SWEETEST little paw wave when she’s happy or asking for attention. It’s her signature move, and it’s basically impossible to resist. What Lucy needs most is a patient, gentle person or family who will give her the time she needs to feel safe and comfortable — without rushing her. She’s already come so far, and with a little more love and understanding, she’s going to blossom even more. Lucy is a very happy girl who is slowly learning how to just “be a dog.” And watching her discover joy, trust, and confidence is one of the most rewarding things ever. If you’re looking for a small companion with a tender heart, a silly streak, and a future career in toy theft, Lucy might just be your perfect match. Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let this tiny treasure warm up your world and put joy in your heart! 💛🐾

Story
Koko is a very nice dog and loves to cuddle, unfortunately I can no longer care for her and will be moving in the summer time so I need to find her a new home hopefully by then. She is a very friendly dog who has a lot of energy. She is small and house trained and would be a great addition to any family. She may take some time to warm up but once she is comfortable she will be full of love and joy.
