The littles... Don't squeal, but we have 3 fluffy chihuahuas and 6 fluffy Shih-Tzus (and their related mixes of whatever else they are). These babies are absolutely adorable, social, and easy pups. Great for apartments or condos. Any little kids in the home need to know how/when to pick up little puppies and not to run around them for fear of being tripped/stepped on. And any other animals in the home need to be good with super tiny pups (you need to KNOW they are, not assume they are) Both litters will be in the 2 month range when available for adoption on September 7th. They will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, have 2-3 parvo/distemper vaccines, bordatella vaccine, and monthly preventatives/dewormings. Puppies this size need constant supervision when outside even in a fenced in yard or playpen. They are small enough to fit through gaps in the fence or be picked up by birds or other wildlife. Please expect additional questions during the application process in addition to what's in the application. These pups will be available for adoption on September 7th. Scrappy came to FARM in need of a forever home. He is a 2 year old, 14 pound neutered male Chihuahua mix. Scrappy does well with other dogs his size, or smaller, but should not go to a home with small children. He has typical Chihuahua behavior in that he needs some time to warm up to you, but once he does, he is an affectionate dog who enjoys playing, affection and attention. He is UTD on shots and waiting for his forever home. Meet and greets for approved adopters will be by appointment. Chippy came to FARM in need of a forever home. He is a one year old, 20 pound, recently neutered male Min Pin mix. Chippy is affectionate and likes to play with other small non dominant dogs. (Chippy does not do well with dominant dogs or larger dogs.) At the present time we do not think he's appropriate for children. Chippy will need work on his housebreaking skills. Meet and greets for approved adopters will be by appointment. He is shy with new people, but after a day, he's your best friend. He would do best in a home with no young children and a fenced yard since he's not used to being on a leash.
