Story
Ealy is the sweetest little girl you could ever meet, with a heart full of love and affection. She is happiest when she’s cuddled up close to her people and truly needs that connection. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch, playing with her toys, or following you around the house, Ealy just wants to be part of the family. She adores everyone she meets—adults, kids, and strangers alike—and does wonderfully with other dogs. Toys are one of her favorite things, and she can happily entertain herself or invite her dog friends to play. When the leash comes out, Ealy lights up with excitement because she knows it’s time for a walk and more time spent with her favorite humans. Ealy is doing great with potty training and uses a doggy door to go outside. She prefers being near her people and can feel anxious when crated, but because she loves her family so deeply. She would thrive in a home where her people enjoy a dog that wants to be close, cuddly, and involved in everyday life. More than anything, Ealy is looking for a loving family who wants a true companion—one who will give kisses freely, cuddle endlessly, and love with her whole heart. She has so much love to give and will make an incredibly loyal, affectionate addition to the right home. Ealy is truly the best little girl and is ready to find her forever family to cuddle for a lifetime. Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Looking for a furry companion who will bring joy, loyalty, and endless love into your home? Miss Daisy is the one for you! This petite, sweet gal is ready to find her furever foster. She is a nice little charmer; she likes to lick your hands and cuddle up, once she gets to know you! Daisy may need a refresher in housetraining. We are looking for someone who can take care of her medical needs on a daily basis. This includes heart tablets every day for her murmur (she does not mind them at all), a special diet (which the rescue will provide, you just need to be able to occasionally pick up the food from the rescue), and occasional vet visits also covered by the rescue. Hatton Animal Rescue Foundation's Sanctuary Forever Foster Program: The goal of the Forever Foster program is to provide loving and safe homes for older, special needs or palliative care animals. A Forever Foster pet is usually a senior pet or a pet with medical needs that generally would not be adopted otherwise – these are the unfortunate ones who are overlooked at animal shelters and are often the first to be euthanized. While you provide a safe home environment (food, toys, attention and, of course, LOVE) for one of our sweet animals, Hatton Animal Rescue is committed to covering ALL medical costs for the deserving animal that you welcome in. Why commit to becoming a Forever Foster? Of course, the first reason is that these special animals deserve to live out their lives in comfort and with love. Second, Forever Foster parents will be the first to tell you that the love these pets return is unconditional, and that it is extremely fulfilling to provide special care. The love you provide goes a long way as your forever foster is able to live out his/her best life. If you ready to make the commitment to become a Forever Foster, please complete our foster application and we will reach out to you to schedule an interview. Please note that opportunities for temporary fostering are available on a case by case basis, but generally, we are looking for forever homes). https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/HATT/Dog

Story
Meet Kevin!Kevin may be small, but he’s mighty when it comes to loyalty. He came to us with some behavioral history of being very protective of his person — acting as a little bodyguard who didn’t love sharing his owner’s attention. If you’re looking for a dog-friendly dog who also takes his role as your personal security very seriously, Kevin might be your guy.Since being with us, Kevin has shown no guarding or protection issues, and he has been settling in nicely. That said, it’s important to remember that dogs can behave differently in a shelter environment than they do in a home, so adopters should be mindful and ready to provide structure, guidance, and clear boundaries as Kevin continues to adjust.Kevin would do best in a home that appreciates a confident, spunky dog with a big personality in a small package — one who will make sure you feel like the safest person in the world. With the right match, Kevin has the potential to be an incredibly devoted companion.Kevin's adoption fee is $150, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! We welcome adopters from out of state to apply! _When it comes to our pets, we're all-inclusive! ACSKC Health Care for Each Adopted Pet Includes:Dogs: Preventatives for parasites, vaccines (Kennel Cough, Distemper, Rabies), spay/neuter, microchip, behavioral assessment.Cats: Parasite treatment, FeLV/FIV testing, deworming for kittens, vaccines (Distemper, Rabies), spay/neuter, microchip. What You’ll Take Home:Toys, treats, and food sampleRabies tag, microchip number, and medical recordsA “Pet Pal Packet” with feeding info, training tips, and guidance for helping your new pet adjust

Story
Herman is our  “Small Dog with Big Loyalty”    Hi, I’m Herman — a 5-year-old chocolate and tan Chihuahua weighing in at a perfect 10 pounds. I’m a gentle, well-behaved little guy who’s ready to find a loving, dependable home just in time for the holidays. My life took an unexpected turn when my former owner and his partner split up, and suddenly there was no place for me anymore. Through no fault of my own, I found myself without a home — but not without hope. A kind coworker made sure I stayed safe and out of the shelter, and soon after, Critter Cavalry Rescue welcomed me in and promised to help me find the forever family I deserve. I’m an easy companion to love. I’m housebroken, calm, snuggly, and respectful of my space and yours. I don’t chew things up, and I truly just want to be near my person — whether that’s curled up on the couch or keeping you company during quiet moments. I’m healthy, recently neutered, and ready to start my next chapter with someone who understands that loyalty like mine is for life. I may be small, but my heart is huge, and I promise to love you fully and faithfully. If you’re looking for a sweet, steady companion to welcome into your home and heart for 2026 and beyond, I could be your perfect match. Please reach out to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to learn more about adopting me.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 24, 2025, 12:11 pm
