Story
⚡ Meet Buzz! ⚡ At 8 months old, this sweet little Chihuahua boy is a tiny agent of chaos with an impressive top speed. 😂 Buzz and Andy are sweet, playful boys who love to run, zoom, explore, and generally cause as much chaos as their little legs will allow. They’re speedy little things, but once the nonsense settles down, they’re affectionate, lovable pups who are still very much learning how to be good grown-up dogs. ❤️ Potty training is definitely still a work in progress, so their future families will need to continue working on a consistent routine and good house manners. Buzz and Andy are looking for SEPARATE forever homes. The boys are showing some signs of littermate syndrome and have become overly dependent on one another, so we believe separating them will give each dog the best opportunity to build confidence, bond with their new family, and thrive independently. ❤️ ⚡ Professional zoomie specialist ❤️ Sweet and affectionate 💨 FAST — seriously, watch the door 😂 🏠 Potty training in progress 🎾 Loves to run, play and cause a little chaos 🐾 Only 8 months old with lots of learning ahead 🏡 Must be adopted separately from his brother These boys have spent their young lives as a duo, but now it’s time for each of them to get the chance to be someone’s #1 little guy. Apply to adopt through The Hero Rescue! ❤️ ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Review our adoption contract and application. 2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling. 3. Story
Pepperoni may be a little spicy at first, but once he warms up, he's all sweetness! This adorable adult Chihuahua mix came to us as a stray and has found the shelter to be a scary place, so he's still a bit cautious with new people. With a little patience and a gentle approach, his affectionate, loving personality shines through. Pepperoni is looking for a soft landing with an adopter who will let him settle in at his own pace. He'd do best in a home with adults or older children who can help him build confidence and show him that the world isn't such a scary place.

Story
Chanel is a 2 year old, 12 lb chihuahua mix that is black and tan Bambi is a 1 year and 2 month old 10 lb chihuahua mix that is chocolate and tan Chanel came to our attention only recently, but has been at a sanctuary in south Texas for close to her entire life. She was owned when she was younger and was being severely mistreated by her male owners. The males would hit her, keep her locked in a kennel or a corner of the house. They decided after they were confronted to sign her over to the sanctuary, where she has been safe since. Bambi was found in a dumpster behind tractor supply in the south Texas area when she was younger. She has been at the same animal sanctuary Chanel has been at since she was young also. While Bambi and Chanel are friends and they do act like sisters, they are NOT bonded and can be adopted together or seperate. Both dogs are a bit shy at first, but it doesnt take them too long to come around! They both especially love hot dogs, it helps them come around a lot faster and a perfect way to their heart. Chanel and Bambi are both good with kitties but Bambi likes to play rough sometimes so she can be a little over the top for calm kitties. As long as your cat can get away from her, there shouldn't be an issue! Most cats are her size anyway. Kids? Yes, both dogs would do well with well behaved children! Other dogs? They both would love other dogs, or be fine in a home without them. Leash trained? They can walk on a leash just fine! They love to play and run around, but also love to chill. Crate and house trained? Mostly, yes! Sometimes they use the pee pads inside if not let out in time but mostly house trained! Bambi: Bambi is a high Velcro dog, she needs someone home more often than not. She will literally scream for you when she misses you. Bambi will join in on any activity you have planned, she is so sweet and just wants to be next to her humans. Bambi thinks she runs the whole housenand isn’t afraid of the 120 pound lab/golden mix. She thinks she is his size! Chanel: Chanel she’s a little classy girl and crosses her arm from time to time; It’s the cutes thing ever. Chanel is not a fan of men, and does not like men touching her but loves all females! She’s a girls girl for sure. She is super sweet and loves to play with Bambi and other small dogs. Chanel can be around men with a man who is patient and kind and will let chanel come to him at her own pace. Chanel tilts her head dramatically when you talk to her like a baby. They both would love a playful and loving home, where they could go out and explore the world, relax and know they're finally in what they can call their forever home. These girls are spayed, heart worm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. PLEASE READ BELOW: To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We ONLY do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed ($695) INCLUDES transport from Texas to the Northeast. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks: Albany, NY Port Chester, NY area Anemia, NY area Wells, VT and Brattleboro, VT Nashua, NH Willington, CT - Stamford, CT - Dayville, CT Steubenville, OH – Cincinnati, OH – Grove City, OH Grove City, PA and Washington, PA Ridgefield, NJ - Bordentown, NJ - Egg Harbor City, NJ Emmitsburg, MD - Elkton, MD - Hagerstown, MD Falls Church, VA and Glenn Allen, VA We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home. With an approved application, we do put you in touch with the Texas foster who has the doggy for you to make sure they are the perfect fit.
