Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.DOB: 8/1/2020I am a happy boy that likes my people and gets along with other dogs. I am housebroken, crate trained, and love to snuggle with my foster mom. I  am a 4 year old black Chihuahua Mix - neutered  - up to date on all vaccines - and so ready to find my forever home.   While I do love all people, it would be best that my forever home does not have any small children as I tend to get a little rough and mouthy when playing.   I do prefer that my new forever home is a home with a fenced in yard and has a doggie door.  I don’t really like the apartment life! I like to run and get in my exercise when I go out to take care of business. I do not like dog parks, there is just too much going on and I will be very vocal because not all eyes are on me! If you think I am a good match for you please put in an application and my foster mom will be in contact. Come meet me at the next adoption event!  Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative, neutered and micro-chipped.   Adoption Fee:   $150.00   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 8, 2026, 3:06 pm

Story
Meet our tiny senior sweetheart This little female Chihuahua named Jasmine is about 10–12 years old and weighs just 8 lbs, but she has so much love to give to the right person. Right now she’s very scared and unsure of the world, so she will need a patient, gentle home that will allow her the time and space to slowly come out of her shell. She has been in her foster home for about a week and is already starting to trust them, showing just how sweet she truly is. Once she feels safe, her gentle personality really begins to shine. She loves cozy dog beds and super soft blankets, where she can curl up and feel secure. She is fairly potty trained and will pee while on a leash, though she’s still working on it. She will also use a potty pad inside when needed. She rides well in the car too — she may be a little anxious at first, but after a few minutes she usually curls up and falls asleep. This little girl doesn’t need much — just a quiet home, a warm blanket, and someone with a kind heart who will give her the time she needs to feel safe and loved. In return, you’ll gain the sweetest little companion who will be so grateful to finally have her forever person. If you’re the type of person who believes the best things in life are worth waiting for, she may be the perfect little match for you. Story
Meet Peggy! Peggy is a distinguished older lady with impeccable taste, zero patience for nonsense, and enough sass to power a small city. She considers herself royalty (rightfully so) and expects to be treated as such. Peggy enjoys the finer things in life: a cozy blanket (non-negotiable), a human to snuggle against when she feels like it, and food. Especially food. Honestly, mostly food. Peggy is extremely food-motivated and would absolutely sell state secrets for a snack. Things Peggy does not enjoy include vet visits and nail trims. For these deeply offensive events, she requires a muzzle and your emotional support. Ideally, Peggy would like to live in a home where her people are around most of the time because being alone is overrated, and crates are, in her opinion, an absolute crime. Luckily, she can be trusted outside of one. At night, Peggy insists on sleeping in a human bed, under the covers, like the tiny grandma she is. Peggy’s dream home is one where she is the undisputed center of the universe. Kids are a no. Cats are also a no (she said what she said). She would prefer to be your one and only dog but could tolerate a very specific canine companion: calm, respectful, not young, not hyper, not large, and willing to be bossed around. Peggy would do best in a home without shared walls, as she has strong opinions about outdoor noises and meal prep speed and she will absolutely let you know when you are falling behind schedule. A fenced yard would be lovely so she can sunbathe dramatically with her people, but it’s not required. She is house trained, though she may have an occasional accident in new places or when the weather is rude. Despite being a golden-aged queen, Peggy is in great shape and can still run and jump like a much younger dog. She did arrive with some dental issues and has since had several teeth removed, so she’ll need ongoing dental care but don’t worry, this has not dampened her love of food in the slightest. If you’re looking for a sassy, opinionated, blanket-loving older lady to rule your home (and your heart), apply to meet Peggy today.
