There were far too many children(6) to pick on me. I've been with my foster mom for a year now and I think we have a few things straightened out, regarding what kind of a home I need. I need an off the grid owner. Do you growl at children? I getcha. Nothing wrong with  that, as long as you stay away from the little monsters. Are you a private person,me too. I'm currently living in a quiet country home with a fenced yard where I can expend some energy chasing the squirrels. We have a routine and infrequent visitors. There are other little dogs here and we get along fine, but I do not like strange dogs and would be best as an only pet. I like to play with  squeaky toys, rope toys and nyla bones, am reliably house and crate trained and love to ride in the car and snuggle with foster mom when our day is done.  I will be 3 years old soon, weigh 19.5 lbs. and have the cutest underbite. I am healthy, low maintenance, caught up on all my vaccinations and heart worm negative. I am VERY REACTIVE to new people and situations(stranger danger) and will bark and show fear aggression. I can be worked through this, if you have experience at socializing reactive dogs. It will be a work in progress to help me. IF YOU HAVE A QUIET HOME, WITH NO CLOSE NEIGHBORS OR CHILDREN, we could be best friends. I would love my very own human being buddy. We have been living a wonderful life with our dad, but now he is unable to care for us, so we need a new home together. We are very nice little boys. We are friendly, affectionate, love belly rubs, going on walks, and of course pup cups (YUM!) The other thing we very much love is to travel. We do not like being left home a lone, so looking for a home that someone is there most of the time or can take us with them. We are senior boys so do have some senior issues like arthritis, but we do ok and love being outside.   We are potty trained, get along with other dogs, and older children. We do not know about cats.   We are both Chihuahua mixes. Brutus Black and Brown-12lbs. Po Tan-9 lbs   We are life long buddies and rely on each other for security. We very much miss our dad, but are grateful to the kind lady that is taking care of us and finding us a brand new safe home! She was surrendered after her owner passed away, and understandably, she’s feeling quite shy while she learns to trust new people.She’s still opening up at her own pace, but one thing that helps? Treats! Tic Tac is treat-motivated and appreciates calm, patient humans who let her feel safe. With time, kindness, and a few tasty snacks, she’s sure to blossom into a loving little companion.Tic Tac`s would do best in a new home with someone who understands shy dogs and is willing to let her heart unfold slowly. If that sounds like you, she’d love to meet you.If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 PetWatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $175.00Per state law chapter 25.4, adopters must purchase a non-refundable 2024 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older.
