Story
Floof is a beautiful, sweet, cuddly guy who is beloved by our family, but unfortunately we do not have the time, money, or experience required to care for him considering his special needs. He suffers from severe separation anxiety and requires the constant presence of a pal and unfortunately we are gone during work hours which are around 10 hour days. When left alone he is destructive to our new home (he was outside at the original home) and himself. Due to the self harm he is on Trazadone and Prozac, but it just makes him sleepy rather than actually affecting his underlying issues. He desperately needs someone who can be there with him, because when he has company we really have no issues with him he just cuddles, sleeps, and wants to play. We cannot afford professional training or a fenced in yard in this new home (he did good where we lived last that did have one) or to be there with him like he needs. Adoption fee is if new vaccinations are requested

Story
Johnny was found at a park in about 7 years ago. At that time, we made efforts to locate his owner, but when we were unable to do so, we decided to keep him. Johnny loves to snuggle, take naps under blankets and bask in the sun. He is not a very active dog and prefers to lounge around and sleep. Based on our best estimate, Johnny is around 12 years old. Since we’ve had him, we have never been able to fully housebreak him. He must wear diapers while inside the house. Since the birth of our first child two years ago, caring for Johnny has become increasingly stressful. With a second child on the way, we feel that we are no longer able to give Johnny the time, attention, and care that he deserves.

Story
Pinky is 1 years old. When we rescued her we were told she came from a hoarding case. Because of this, she is very shy and a little nervous around people. She has also already had puppies. She’s been nothing but calm and collected since we adopted her. She loves to burrow in blankets and loves to be in her crate. She is potty trained and house broken. She doesn’t bark, whine or cause any sort of chaos. She is very mellow and loves to relax and cuddle. She really hates the cold and snow though, so she’ll beg you to not make her go outside. We can do $350 if you want all of the stuff we have for her. She will come with her crate, beds and food bowls. We also have a whole bag of food and treats you can have as well.

Coco loves her walks and will even tell her foster mom when it’s walk time! This little Chihuahua mix is happy to nap on the couch or go for a long walk - as long as she’s with her person. She does well with her foster cat siblings. She is good with respectful older kids but hasn’t been tested around toddlers. We are working on potty training and she is almost there! At just 3 years old and 8 pounds, Gordo is living proof that the very best things come in the tiniest, snuggliest packages. This sweet Chihuahua mix is equal parts lap warmer, cuddle champion, and loyal sidekick. He adores being close to his person and will happily follow you from room to room like a tiny, devoted shadow. If you’ve ever wanted a dog who truly wants to be with you — not just near you — Gordo is your guy. He does have a soft spot for the ladies (Gentlemen, don’t worry—he’ll accept you too, but he’s a mama’s boy at heart!) and would thrive in a calm, quiet home. He’d also be thrilled to have a small doggie friend to sunbathe with and share naps. Kids aren’t really his vibe, but cozy couches and peaceful routines? Absolutely. 💊 A little extra love note about Gordo: Gordo is considered special needs due to occasional seizures, which are well managed with daily medication (Levetiracetam and Phenobarbital - about $50 every two months). He takes his meds like a champ and doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. He’ll also need Midazolam on hand, just in case he does have a seizure — though thankfully, his meds are working very well and he rarely has one. Now for the fun stuff… 🐶 Gordo’s Favorite Things: • Being used as a living neck pillow • Sunbathing like a tiny beach bum • Napping with doggie friends • Shamelessly begging for watermelon 🍉 • Sitting in your lap… always • Staring down the vacuum like a brave little warrior He’s house trained, crate trained, and happily trots into his crate at mealtime like the good boy he is.
