Story
Johnny was found at a park in about 7 years ago. At that time, we made efforts to locate his owner, but when we were unable to do so, we decided to keep him. Johnny loves to snuggle, take naps under blankets and bask in the sun. He is not a very active dog and prefers to lounge around and sleep. Based on our best estimate, Johnny is around 12 years old. Since we’ve had him, we have never been able to fully housebreak him. He must wear diapers while inside the house. Since the birth of our first child two years ago, caring for Johnny has become increasingly stressful. With a second child on the way, we feel that we are no longer able to give Johnny the time, attention, and care that he deserves.

She prefers about 24 hours to adjust and does best with dogs who respect her initial hesitation. Once comfortable, she’s happy to coexist and join in the fun. She does enjoy chasing the cat, so a dog-only home or a cat-savvy household would be ideal.This festive girl keeps herself entertained, loves to chase and retrieve toys, and brings joyful puppy energy wherever she goes.
