WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾💛 Meet Gordo — 8 Pounds of Love, Loyalty, and Lap-Warming Perfection 💛🐾 Gordo has been waiting… and waiting… and we honestly don’t understand how this little guy is still looking for his forever home. At just 3 years old and 8 pounds, Gordo is living proof that the very best things come in the tiniest, snuggliest packages. This sweet Chihuahua mix is equal parts lap warmer, cuddle champion, and loyal sidekick. He adores being close to his person and will happily follow you from room to room like a tiny, devoted shadow. If you’ve ever wanted a dog who truly wants to be with you — not just near you — Gordo is your guy. He does have a soft spot for the ladies (Gentlemen, don’t worry—he’ll accept you too, but he’s a mama’s boy at heart!) and would thrive in a calm, quiet home. He’d also be thrilled to have a small doggie friend to sunbathe with and share naps. Kids aren’t really his vibe, but cozy couches and peaceful routines? Absolutely. 💊 A little extra love note about Gordo: Gordo is considered special needs due to occasional seizures, which are well managed with daily medication (Levetiracetam and Phenobarbital - about $50 every two months). He takes his meds like a champ and doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. He’ll also need Midazolam on hand, just in case he does have a seizure — though thankfully, his meds are working very well and he rarely has one. Now for the fun stuff… 🐶 Gordo’s Favorite Things: • Being used as a living neck pillow • Sunbathing like a tiny beach bum • Napping with doggie friends • Shamelessly begging for watermelon 🍉 • Sitting in your lap… always • Staring down the vacuum like a brave little warrior He’s house trained, crate trained, and happily trots into his crate at mealtime like the good boy he is. Gordo is gentle, affectionate, and incredibly loving — the kind of dog who bonds deeply and gives his whole heart once he feels safe. This little guy has been through a lot in his short life, but he hasn’t let it dim his sweetness or his desire to love. He’s just waiting for someone to see how special he truly is and give him the calm, loving home he deserves. 💛 If you’re looking for a devoted companion, a constant cuddle buddy, and a tiny soul who will adore you endlessly — Gordo is ready to wiggle into your heart and home! Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this sweet boy the forever home he’s been waiting for. 💖

Story
WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💗✨ Meet Sadie — Petite Package, Supermodel Legs, Total Lovebug ✨💗 (Female • Chi/Terrier Mix • 2 Years • 12 lbs • House Trained) Sadie is living proof that confidence looks great on everyone — especially when paired with 12 pounds of sweetness and legs that go on for DAYS. Seriously, this girl is built like a tiny runway model who accidentally wandered into a puppy playgroup and decided she loved it. Once a shy wallflower, Sadie has fully stepped into her glow-up era. She was adopted as a puppy but unfortunately her owner passed away. She was very shy and unsure when she came back to us to find her another fur-ever home but she is doing AMAZING in her foster home and has discovered her absolute favorite hobby: playing with other dogs. Loves loves loves it. If there were medals for playtime enthusiasm, she’d be on the podium. Is she shy when first meeting new people? For about a New York second (not even the whole minute). Then the tail starts wagging, the legs start prancing, and she’s like, “Oh hi, yes, I live here now.” She bonds quickly with her person and becomes a loyal little shadow with impressive leg reach. 🐾 Sadie’s Standout Stats: • 2 years old, petite 12 lbs with extra-long legs for maximum elegance • House trained (tiny body, big manners) • Fantastic with other dogs — playgroup superstar • Warms up to new people quickly and even gives sweet lil kisses • Bonds quickly and deeply with her person • Sweet, affectionate, and sneakily funny Sadie would thrive in a home where she can be part of the fun — whether that’s romping with a dog sibling, trotting proudly beside her human, or curling up after a long day of being adorable. She’s gentle, loving, and finally ready to be someone’s forever best girl. If you’re looking for a dog who can steal your heart, your couch, and possibly your camera roll in under 60 seconds… 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — Sadie is ready to strut her way into her forever home. 🐾💖

Story
Ealy is the sweetest little girl you could ever meet, with a heart full of love and affection. She is happiest when she’s cuddled up close to her people and truly needs that connection. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch, playing with her toys, or following you around the house, Ealy just wants to be part of the family. She adores everyone she meets—adults, kids, and strangers alike—and does wonderfully with other dogs. Toys are one of her favorite things, and she can happily entertain herself or invite her dog friends to play. When the leash comes out, Ealy lights up with excitement because she knows it’s time for a walk and more time spent with her favorite humans. Ealy is doing great with potty training and uses a doggy door to go outside. She prefers being near her people and can feel anxious when crated, but because she loves her family so deeply. She would thrive in a home where her people enjoy a dog that wants to be close, cuddly, and involved in everyday life. More than anything, Ealy is looking for a loving family who wants a true companion—one who will give kisses freely, cuddle endlessly, and love with her whole heart. She has so much love to give and will make an incredibly loyal, affectionate addition to the right home. Ealy is truly the best little girl and is ready to find her forever family to cuddle for a lifetime. Story
Baby Bat embodies the personality, uniqueness and likeness of the Batman. First, he works alone. No sidekicks or partners. He prefers solitude and his space. Baby Bat has lived with his foster and her dog pack for 5 years, he gets along with them but tolerates them at most. He would do well in a home where he is the only dog, no children, and adults only. Next, Baby Bat is an apex predator. Which means he needs his sleep and food and not to be interrupted or coddled when given either. Baby Bat is not a lap or cuddly dog. Finally, did we mention Baby Bat is a Chihuahua mix? That's a really important detail! Baby Bat is a great and loyal dog seeking a great family to adopt him! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Shrimp — a little gentleman with a big heart, weighing in at just 8 lbs. This 10-year-old Chihuahua–Maltese mix we think, is as sweet as they come. Shrimp is a gentle, happy boy who loves nothing more than being close to his person. He’ll happily follow you from room to room, just to make sure you don’t get lost without him. Even though he doesn’t have any teeth, Shrimp is a true foodie at heart — mealtime is his favorite time! He’s crate trained and sleeps well, though sometimes he can’t quite make it through the night, so he wears a diaper just to be safe. House training is still a work in progress, but he’s learning. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who will fill your days with love and quiet companionship, Shrimp is ready to wiggle right into your heart. Local Only adoption fee is $200(in TX)
