She joined rescue with my best friend Pumpkin, who just passed away in May. Now that she no longer has her best friend, she am looking for a final home to shower her with love and affection until the end of time! ⸻ 💊 Health Notes My only known medical issue is that I do have a suspected collapsed trachea, so in high-activity situations, my cough may flare up. I am current on all vaccinations, spayed, and a dental was completed in October 2024. ⸻ 🩺 Veterinary Care Provided All CO•PAW dogs are: ✔️ Spayed/Neutered ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Heartworm tested (1+ year) ✔️ Given preventatives and initial vaccines If booster shots have not yet occurred, they may be completed for free at our Columbus, OH clinic—or at your own vet, at your expense. ⸻ 📝 Adoption Info •Must live in the State of Ohio •No transport available—adopters must travel for the meet & greet •Meet & greets are scheduled only after application approval •Please come prepared to take your new best friend home if it’s a match! Are you the type of person that likes to give sweet older pups a chance they might otherwise not get? Sweetie loves attention and will happily help you out by guarding the door of the bathroom from the inside. However, she can also be quite the independent little lady and doesn’t need to be a velcro dog… unless you want her to be! Sweetie can be a little bossy with her dog friends (part of why we think she’s mixed with chihuahua!) but generally gets along well with everyone. Sweetie is a beauty but would benefit from a little tough love when it comes to feeding and giving out treats and a little more activity in her day. A physically fenced yard is required. Sweetie is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio.
