Abe! He is coming out of his shell and feeling so much better. His favorite thing to do is lay out on the patio and sun himself.He’s gotten the treat game down, does great on walks, climbs stairs, and still has lots of life in him! Abe is one of the five senior Chihuahuas who came to us after being found in an abandoned home, and this sweet little guy is settling beautifully into his new chapter. At about 11 years old and 8 pounds, Abe is a tiny gentleman with a BIG love for cuddling. His favorite place? Right beside you—or better yet, in your lap. He’s happiest simply being close to his person. Abe recently had some much-needed dental work, and an abscess he had is healing nicely. He’s feeling better every day and could probably stand to gain another pound or so. A few extra snacks? Abe certainly won’t complain! He gets along well with other dogs and has a gentle, easygoing personality.
