sadly, this little guy was brought to the shelter at 10 years old and his human family passed away, not wanting him to suffer in the big scary shelter any longer. We pulled him into a foster home with us at Happy Tails Happy Homes. He is currently living with six little dogs and two adult humans and is doing so so well he is starting to blossom and his new foster home and show us just how incredibly loving and smart he is 3/21/26 pupdate from the foster family: Milo is very sweet. So far he’s been fairly quiet, even when our dogs are going nuts. He’s timid and we’re working with him because he won’t go in and out of the door without some coaxing. He loves to cuddle and is very eager to please. He hasn’t had an accident in the house and sleeps well in his crate at night. He also gets along really well with our dogs.

Peanut may be tiny, but don’t let his size fool you—this little Chihuahua/wire-haired terrier mix has a BIG personality. At around two months old, Peanut is a playful, goofy, tail-wagging machine who is fully committed to living life as one big adventure. Peanut is the kind of puppy who turns everything into a game.
