If you are interested in this dog PLEASE carefully read the bio on the dog below. If you are a match please submit an adoption application at WWW.GADR.ORG. Incomplete applications will not be processed. We reserve the right to deny any application that is deemed unfit or unsuitable for the dog. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the dogs that fall under our care. Please be patient our rescue consists of all volunteers. Please don't be upset at us if you're not able to adopt. We do our best. We are now accepting applications for this sweet handsome playful sweet dog named Louie. We rescued this awesome dog after a plea from a citizen to take him that was bringing him to a shelter. Louie was scared and needed our help. Louie is very sweet and shy at first and will need time to decompress. Our foster said Louie is housetrained but may have an accident the first day. Louie is great with all of our fosters dogs and cats in the household. He loves to cuddle, go for walks and run around our fosters yard! Louie is very affectionate and is a cuddle bug. UPDATE...from foster dad....Louie is a very sweet submissive and gentle dog. Louie acts like a puppy and seems younger then we were told. But most of the time he is calm and just wants love. He will be your shadow and just wants to please. Louie would do best in a home with another dog or two and with a fenced in yard. He has some separation anxiety and when you leave he does bark and cry. I have been working on it and has improved. He is a great watch dog and does let you know when a stranger is present. He would not do well if you work 8 hours plus day away from home.. A retiree or a stay at home worker or family would be perfect. He loves other small dogs and cats! Louie is an active 16 lb male 4 year old Dachshund mix who is neutered up to date on all shots, microchipped and heartworm negative. Louie does have a little separation anxiety, when you leave he does bark and cry a little, so we prefer a house, sorry no condos or apartments. Another little dog would be great too for Louie . Please only apply if you are willing to be patient and let him decompress. Louie is a wonderful sweet dog and we want the best home for him. Louie's adoption donation 400.00. Are you the one for Louie? All adoptions include 30 days pet health insurance, dog food, harness, leash and lifetime training tips

𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞? Dottie & Dorothy are 2 Dachshund mixed girlies that deserve a true chance at a happy life after all they’ve been through 💔 These girls came to SSBR after being taken in to a rural Animal Control facility along with dozens of other dogs. Neglected, uncared for, bred many times and disposed of. That’s the life they’ve endured… until now. Now, they have a chance to be loved, cared for and cherished. These girls really cling to each other and we are hoping the power of social media can help us keep them together in their forever home! They are really great dogs despite all they’ve been through— kennel trained, seem housebroken, not barkers, good with other dogs. Docile, mild mannered smaller girls. They have been spayed, vaccinated UTD and microchipped. Now they just need you 🙏 🔗Apply online at https://www.southernstatesbullyrescue.org/blank 📍Tampa FL

Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Litl bit was my sister’s dog. She was raised with her on a farm in Al and she lived alone with other dogs . I had back surgery in March and my sister died in April. She was living with us here in Florida due to dementia and was in a rehab facility after having a stroke when she died. Litl bit does not have human social skills. She hides when people come over and will only come to me when I have food or treats to give her. She’s good with other dogs and cats, she won’t use the doggie door like my other dogs so she potty on the porch. I can’t physically get down on the floor and get her. My husband fell on June 16 and tore his Achilles tendon. So he’s in a boot and trying to take care of me, the dogs, cat and me. Litl bit is sweet but very skittish. My sister didn’t teach her how to socialize with people. She needs someone who can teach her how to trust people. She is spade, had 3 year rabies and distemper shots. She will be due in August. Has not had a Bordetella shots.

Cody is a sweet 3yo boy that came into rescue after his patent had to go into a memory care facility. If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com   Hi, I’m Cheerio — your future cuddle buddy, blanket burrito, and loyal sidekick!    If you’re looking for a dog who lives for snuggles, I’m your guy. My favorite place in the whole world? Wrapped up in a blanket with you like a cozy little croissant. I’m the king of comfort and have perfected the art of being your soft, warm shadow.   I’m around 6 years old (approx DOB July 5, 2020), neutered, and just the right size — okay, maybe a little extra right now. I’ve got a few bonus pounds from living the snack life, but with regular walks (which I love!) and a little encouragement, I’m ready to slim down and strut my stuff.   I’m medium-sized with a long body, stubby legs, and a whole lot of personality. I get along great with other animals and am super friendly when meeting new people. I also have a talkative side when I’m craving attention — which is basically all the time.   If you’re into cozy nights, slow strolls, and a pup who will always be the little spoon, then I might just be the Cheerio your heart’s been missing. Let’s get wrapped up in forever.   Cheerio's adoption fee is $400 -  obedience training is required after adoption and fully enclosed front or backyard is also required.
