Story
Lola is a 9 year old brindle Chihuahua Daschund mix. When we first got her we did not have any children for two years and she was treated as our only child. We now have two toddlers and a newborn and the added responsibility of a dog who needs more attention than we can give her now weighs on us daily. She is a high energy dog who would love to go on walks, She would prefer to be in a more quiet home with less chaos/anxiety inducing activity going on around her. She is very anxious when in a crowd or when new people are over and the unpredictable nature of kids seems to scare her. Ideally we will find her a loving home with no children or other pets. We have all of her vet records/receipts from over the years.

Hi Guys...I am Bear, actually it used to be Polar Bear, but truthfully, I am not a fan of the cold so I had them drop it here at the rescue when I arrived. lol. So besides the cold let me tell you a little about me. I am a settled adult guy, but I still love to play and have a blast. Warm blankets, soft beds [preferably yours] and someone to snuggle with and call my own are all on the docket for me...I hope. So I will tell ya what...if you are looking for a side-by-side companion that has all those puppy antics behind them, I am your guy. Head on over to the DRBC Adoption Center and let's hook-up! Bear is an 8 year old neutered cream colored Chiweenie male who is current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative and has been placed on the DRBC long life diet. She came to our rescue from Philly along with Tilly, Pixie and Trixie, after their family could no longer afford to care for them. Miley is friendly, affectionate, and loves being close to her people. She enjoys attention, cuddles, and is happiest when she's part of the action. Although Miley recently experienced the loss of her litter, she has remained a loving and gentle little girl. Now it's her turn to be spoiled and cared for as she looks for a forever home of her own. Oaklee ended up at our adoption due to no fault of her own. She was given to a couple after being abused and mistreated at her original home. This couple decided to surrender her because they already had 3 dogs. She did end up pregnant and gave birth to two puppies, one had passed at birth and the other was kept by family members. She will be spayed, which is already scheduled and up to date on vaccines before she goes home. She can be possessive over food so we are asking for a home with no young children. She does need patience when it comes to trusting new people. Once she trusts you, she just wants to snuggle and be your personal shadow.
