Story
I adopted Tater as a pup, 2 months old. He is a bundle of energy and very sweet. He loves everyone. He is overtly friendly towards other pets when they come up to him, and he is very anxious to meet everyone. The only time we hear him bark is if someone knocks on the door or delivers a package. He knows sit, lie down, stay (for a bit), slow, wait, off. He is not 100% obedient, as when he gets excited he is still quite the puppy. He is house (apartment) trained, I walk him 5-6x a day as I do not have a yard. My work has moved, so I cannot come home for lunch any longer, and leaving him for so long every day is too much to ask of a puppy. If you have any questions please let me know.

Story
Relinquished by his owner as part of an unwanted litter. Mom has been spayed and the cycle of reproduction has ended. Charlie is a typical puppy, playful, full of energy, sociable and a happy pup. No baggage. He's also CRATE TRAINED. For additional information call Lydia at 714-357-8405. Please do NOT call to ask if this puppy is available for adoption. If this listing is still posted then we are still accepting applications. Please read the narrative in it's entirety. Please note our adoption procedures are explained in GREAT DETAIL BELOW. READ, READ, READ. Thank You. . . . . The best match will be selected and contacted to confirm an appointment at Petsmart in Yorba Linda on Saturday between noon and 3 pm or on a mutually agreeable day, time and place. We do not do out-of-state adoptions for puppies and we cannot hold puppies; please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. The adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, core vaccinations including rabies and 4 sets of distemper/parvo and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. The adoption fee for a puppy is generally $495 - $525. Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so. This is a great article from 3LostDogs that explains the trials and tribulations of puppyhood: http://3lostdogs.com/things-wish-everyone-knew-before-they-get-dog-2/

Story
Adopted Una from OC Animal Care in June as a companion dog for our 9 year old dog. Una is 2 yrs, very caring and very energetic ... sadly too energetic for our other Beagle dog. Una needs an active home with either kids or dogs her age or both. She is loving, grooms the other dog and us, loves to run, play with water from the hose & get wet, but doesn't like puddles. She's house & leash trained, and knows sit-stay-and lay down. She eats dry &/or wet food ... and loves treats! Una is energetic, wants to play a lot & gets the zoomies. Although we take her for long walks (sometimes 1-2 miles) she gets bored easy when not supervised. She is not a biter, but as she licks you she will try to mouth your hand or arm, but stops when told. When she's in play mode, training commands do not work and you just have to let her get the energy out. Quirks: Walks on her hind legs, will cross her front legs while waiting for you. She would be perfect for an active family/individual. She's light & fast!

Story
Luke is a sweet 2 year old boy with IVDD. He has already had the surgery and has a wheelchair/wheels that he moves around well with. His owner was having mental health issues and needed to rehome him. A friend told me about this dog and how they were going to have to drop him at a shelter. I felt horrible about the situation and offered to try and help. Unbeknownst to me, sweet Luke was dropped at my doorstep and now needs a loving home. He just wants love and someone to hang out with. He has a bright light in his eyes and LOVES snuggles and head scratches!
