Story
Domino was surrendered to A Home 4 Ever when his owner passed away. He is sweet, friendly, gentle, and loving. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date with his vaccines. He is good with other dogs of any size. He was just diagnosed with thyroid disease so he’s on meds for that. He has an issue with other dogs when it comes to treats and food. He is food driven. He knows the commands sit, lay down and shake. He’s very friendly with people and kids.  If you are interested in Domino, please fill out an application for him on our website - http://ahome4everrescue.org/adoption-form/   --- Come meet our dogs Saturdays and Sundays at Petsmart in Costa Mesa from 11:30-2:30. All A Home 4 Ever Rescue dogs receive a wellness exam by our veterinarian and are up to date with vaccinations. They are spayed or neutered and microchipped before they go to their adoptive families. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Relinquished by his owner as part of an unwanted litter. Mom has been spayed and the cycle of reproduction has ended. Charlie is a typical puppy, playful, full of energy, sociable and a happy pup. No baggage. He's also CRATE TRAINED. For additional information call Lydia at 714-357-8405. Please do NOT call to ask if this puppy is available for adoption. If this listing is still posted then we are still accepting applications. Please read the narrative in it's entirety. Please note our adoption procedures are explained in GREAT DETAIL BELOW. READ, READ, READ. Thank You. . . . . The best match will be selected and contacted to confirm an appointment at Petsmart in Yorba Linda on Saturday between noon and 3 pm or on a mutually agreeable day, time and place. We do not do out-of-state adoptions for puppies and we cannot hold puppies; please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. The adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, core vaccinations including rabies and 4 sets of distemper/parvo and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. The adoption fee for a puppy is generally $495 - $525. Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so. This is a great article from 3LostDogs that explains the trials and tribulations of puppyhood: http://3lostdogs.com/things-wish-everyone-knew-before-they-get-dog-2/

Story
Meet a very very special dog - Jasper - a pure bred Cocker Spaniel we saved on his last day at a high kill animal shelter. He is super sweet, unfortunately he was very sick and we had him at our hospital. He is better now but does have a tumor on his bottom. It is cancer and our vet advised if we removed it, it would still be terminal. The good news is Jasper is sweet and happy. We are looking for a special adopter or long term foster so this sweet boy can enjoy his sunset years. At the moment he is happy and healthy and on no meds. Please consider loving this sweet boy. He is only 7 years old and loves to play. PLEASE consider sweet Jasper.

Story
Julio is very friendly and loves to play with any toy that squeaks. Please note, Julio is blind. We think he can see light and shadows. (A vet has seen his eye and we were told his sight is beyond repair.) When learning a new environment, he may bump into walls and furniture, but, once he knows his way to his bed or familiarizes himself with the backyard, he will be set. With his limited sight in mind, I hope his new home does not have stairs, or that his new owners would not mind lifting him up and down. We think he is 12-13 years old. And, unfortunately, he's a little overweight right now. Besides his eye sight, he appears healthy and happy. He is a very well-behaved dog -- great with adults and kids. At night, we keep him in a gated area with a puppy pad, which he never uses, so I would say he is practically crate-trained. After the previous tenants left Julio behind, we have done our best to care for him, but we can no longer keep him.
