The best match will be selected and contacted to confirm an appointment at Petsmart in Yorba Linda on Saturday between noon and 3 pm or on a mutually agreeable day, time and place. We do not do out-of-state adoptions for puppies and we cannot hold puppies; please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. The adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, core vaccinations including rabies and 4 sets of distemper/parvo and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. The adoption fee for a puppy is generally $495 - $525. Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so. Domino was surrendered to A Home 4 Ever when his owner passed away. He is sweet, friendly, gentle, and loving. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date with his vaccines. He is good with other dogs of any size. He was just diagnosed with thyroid disease so he’s on meds for that. He has an issue with other dogs when it comes to treats and food. He is food driven. Hi! Indy is my name. I love to go on walks, I am a teenager - around 1.5 years-old - and I need you. It's more important than you know. I was rescued as a puppy by a young person who worked long hours. I didn't get out much, and didn't meet other people or dogs. I did live with two cats, but that was long ago. Then I moved to another family. That didn't work out the way I expected. Now? I am being surrendered by my owner and am in boarding at a vet. That makes it even more important that you help me - I need to get our of here and start my life over. I will need to go slow with people and dogs at first. Do you know how to read dog body language? You do!? That is great because it will be essential to know what I am feeling so you can best help me. Will you set clear rules, expectations, have a daily routine that doesn't change, and limit what I can do on my own and where I can go at first? You will?! That is wonderful to hear. That will teach me to trust and to look to you before I make decisions. Will you take me out at least twice every day for at least 30 minutes each time and show me that the world is a safe place, and that you, my leader, will keep me safe? You will??!! Now I know that you are the right leader for me! The walks are so critical for us to build a bond and to help me know how to learn to follow you as a leader.Oh - by the way - haven't been on a scale yet, so unsure how much I weigh. Meet Teddy. Teddy is a 4-year-old male purebred cocker spaniel who is currently being rehomed by his family. He is fully vaccinated and fixed. Teddy is an incredible sweetheart who loves all people and all dogs; however, Teddy's family is looking to rehome him in a home with no children. Teddy suffers from what his family believes to be known as A rare condition called "cocker rage syndrome". It is believed that Teddy may suffer from tiny seizures that are causing him to become aggressive for a minute or two then will go back to being the sweet pup that he truly is. This occurs very rarely but it is best that he be homed with someone who is experienced with cocker spaniels and with someone who understands that Teddy doesn't mean any harm when these episodes occur.
