Story
t’s adorable & adoptable: Peppy, also known by his cowboy name—Sundance. This big handsome boy is just about PERFECT. He’s a sweet sweet boy. He’s got some heft (29lbs which is on the larger side for a cocker) and he’s VERY strong. He doesn’t quite realize how strong he is. He’s a cuddle bug who loves to please. He just likes people in general—and other dogs, too! He LOVES any size dog, cats, people both young and old, men, women—you name it. He assume everyone is a friend. This guy is a great watchdog—he is very good at alerting to strange noises so he probably needs a home without shared walls because big boy has a big bark! Pep is 5-6 years old so he’s over all that puppy ridiculousness but still loves playing with toys and chewies. Interested in adoption? Story
Tofu is a major cutie—a sweet, cuddly 1.5 year-old Cockapoo with a heart full of love and a tongue that’s almost always sticking out (seriously… it’s part of his signature look!). This affectionate little guy lives for kisses, snuggles, and being close to his people. If you’re looking for a best friend who wants to be wherever you are, Tofu is your guy.Tofu has a playful puppy spirit and still gets the zoomies like a champ! While he does have some hip and back leg issues that we’re still learning more about, it doesn’t stop him from running, playing, and enjoying life. It’s believed these traits may be inherited. Regardless, Tofu doesn’t let it slow him down and continues to be an active, happy pup.Because he’s still a puppy, Tofu can get a little mouthy when he’s extra excited, but he’s made great progress learning to redirect that energy to his beloved chew toys (which he absolutely loves). For this reason he may need to be in a home with full grown children. He’s also very fond of his toy box… though he’s still trying to understand why throw pillows aren’t considered toys. 😉Tofu is crate trained and does well settling in his kennel. He has come a long way with his potty training and continues to improve, especially with a consistent routine—he may just need a little extra patience and guidance to get fully there. He loves being outside, especially lounging in the grass and soaking up the fresh air. At the end of the day, Tofu’s favorite place is anywhere he can curl up with his human. He truly just wants to be loved and part of a family. With his sweet personality, adorable bleep tongue, and endless affection, Tofu is ready to steal hearts and become someone’s perfect companion.Interested in Adoption? Story
Adorable & adoptable: Jill Munroe. This little girl may be a founding member of the Charles Townsend Detective Agency (if you know, you know), but she is not exactly a little ANGEL. She's working on that part. She can't help it, she's just too PUPPY still! Jill is a petite little girl (around 17-18lbs) who is just a year old--she hasn't gotten the puppy out of her system yet and as best we can tell, doesn't plan on it any time soon. This girl is Playful with a capital P. She operates in cycles of zoomies then crashes for power naps so she can do it all over again. She's as sweet as she can be and loves everybody--dogs and people alike. She LOVES toys.. so much that she can make anything a toy--flip flops? Yep. A lamp? Why not? You kinda have to admire her resourcefulness. Jill's ideal family would appreciate her playful nature and puppy energy. Interested in adoption? Bailee is a smart, sweet, and deeply loyal companion who forms a special bond with his person. Once he’s all in, he’s truly all in—always happiest right by your side and ready to be your shadow through life’s everyday moments. This darling 9 year old boy has a gentle, loving nature, paired with a cautious side that just means he takes his time to understand the world around him. But once he feels safe, his affection shines through in the most genuine way.Bailee gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company, but his favorite place will always be right next to his person—where he feels most at home. Bailee is on medication for a heart murmur which is something that has to be monitored but hasn't caused him any noticeable symptoms. If gentle and easy is your vibe, you just might need a Bailee in your life. Interested in adoption? Our adoptions require an approved application which you can find on our website. Story
Are you looking for a petite little princess who will cuddle you all day long and let you put bows in her hair? We're so sorry, we don't have one of those. We've got Fawn. To be sure, she is a tiny little poof of spaniel but "ladylike" has not entered the chat here. Fawn is whirling dervish of playtime, chewing on things you thought were lost and thieving "snacks" she manages to disappear off the table when you're not looking. Fawn is a year and a half old, but is possible stuck in Perpetual Puppy Mode. Her size (14lbs) does not do a good job of convincing anyone she's a grown adult either. She is goofy, hilarious and extremely affectionate in that "I'm going to be 2 inches from your Face at ALL TIMES" way. She loves playing with other dogs unless its dinnertime--around food she is convinced she is a 200lb beast that cannot be messed with (so she eats in a crate). Housetraining is... a concept we are working on. She remains unconvinced that playtime is something that should be interrupted for pottybreaks. She has gorgeous spots and a scrunchface that won't quit. We won't blame you for falling in love but her furever family will need to be one who can usher her through Puppy Mode (even if it lasts). Story
We'll be honest, when the eyes are as as pretty as these, we probably don't even need to give you a bio for the dog. We mean: do we need to sell this face? We think not. Ellie's beauty speaks for itself, her long lashes and her merle coat are obviously easy on the eyes. However at 9 months old, Ellie is still finding herself. She's a very timid girl who is working on building trust. She thrives with another playful confident dog and a dog buddy is an absolute must for her forever home. Even though Ellie is skittish she will not tolerate you being far. Shutting her out of a room you are in? Forbidden! Asking her to sit quietly in a kennel? No thank you! Expecting her to use a doggie door? Not likely! Ellie needs an independently standing home without any shared walls so that when she decides to show her (CONSIDERABLE) vocal talents she won't bother the neighbors. Once she starts to come out of her shell, she's a very silly wigglebutt. She loves to play "show and tell," bringing you her latest finds, toys; balls; socks or.. the mail (hope that wasn't an important bill). If she can pick it up she will bring it to you. When it's time to relax a belly rub is in order. She's treat motivated and a fast learner. Ellie just needs a home that understands that she may not be perfect "right out of the box" but in the right environment with the right mix of love and patience she'll shine. Interested in adoption?
