Story
My pet's name is Jolie, I was told by her original owners that her birthday is November 8th, 2019. She was given to me by someone in my neighborhood whose dog gave birth to a litter of pups. For the past few years, Jolie has been a wonderful part of my family, she is especially fond of my grandma. Whenever my grandma leaves the house she's the type to wait by the door for her to come back. Jolie loves to sleep by my feet and loves to follow me around the house. She has spent time at other homes in the past and does very well with other families and other dogs. Jolie is incredibly sweet. Like most dogs, she loves to play outside and she loves to run.

Story
**FOSTER OR ADOPT ME PLEASE** Twelve-year old Fibonacci, affectionately called Nacci, is ready to find a foster home!  Nacci was in a temp home where he did well with the other pup and all the people.  He knows sit, shake and down, too. He was found as a stray, so we don't know too much about him, but he has been a perfect pup.  He rides quietly in the car and walks nicely on the leash.  When left alone, he did cry in the temporary foster home, so we don't think he is a good condo pup. Nacci is now looking for a foster home so we can learn more about him.  If you can help, please email fosters@cockerspanielrescue.com.  He is located in Alexandria, VA.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 18, 2024, 3:05 pm

If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog. Please visit our website - www.cockeradoptions.org   There, you will find the current status of the dog, the links to our adoption and foster applications, and detailed information about our adopting and fostering procedures.   ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Jane, and I just arrived at CSAC. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I am scared because I have not been around a lot of people or lived in a home as a pet. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. I will need time to trust people who want what is best for me and are not going to hurt me. That is something I have not experienced so far in my life. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen.
