Story
Shiloh is looking for a forever home! She is 12 years old and weighs 30 pounds.  Shiloh is a beautiful deep chocolate and white cocker spaniel who was surrendered by her owner after being unable to keep her.  Shiloh has excellent leash and car manners.  Shiloh met a senior cocker nose to nose and she was fine and is fostered with two senior pups now.  We don't think a young, playful pup is ideal for Shiloh in her forever home.  Shiloh was raised with children and the prior owner said she was great with kids 8 years and above. She is fostered in Alexandria, VA.  If you can open your home to Shiloh, please email us at adoptme@cockerspanielrescue.com. She is ready to start the rest of her life now!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 16, 2026, 6:07 pm

Story
Mollie is looking for her forever home! Mollie is the sweetest senior girl with exceptional leash manners- check her out here! She is also a great car rider. Mollie is quiet in the home and would love a cozy house or condo to call her own. She was surrendered to a local shelter after the family said they couldn't take care of her. Mollie is house trained and doing great in her foster home.  Mollie is around 12 years old and 30 pounds; yes, she could lose a couple of pounds but can't we all! :-) If you're looking for a senior to add to your family and ready to spoil a one and only pup, Mollie is ideal for you! Please email adoptme@cockerspanielrescue.com to learn how to adopt this sweet senior.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 11, 2026, 5:01 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Comet Sweet senior Comet is safe, loved, and finally getting the care he deserves Comet’s story began with heartbreak — he was cruelly thrown from a moving car. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan witnessed what happened and stepped in to save him before the person responsible could be identified. Today, Comet is FIERCELY LOVED and on the path to healing. Estimated to be around 13 years old, Comet is a gentle, affectionate senior who truly loves everyone he meets. He’s been groomed and is feeling much more comfortable as he recovers. Comet is currently being treated for a bacterial infection and has started medication. The good news continues — his bloodwork looks great, and the vet is not concerned about his bumps. Comet will be getting a dental and neuter on 1/9/2026. Despite everything he’s been through, Comet’s spirit shines. He is incredibly sweet, calm, and loving, and he would make a wonderful companion for someone looking to give a deserving senior the safe, cozy home he’s always deserved. Comet is ready for his next chapter — one filled with kindness, comfort, and forever love.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.100% of every adoption fee is used to rescue and care for homeless animals.  Please consider donating to help us more rescue animals. ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Bessy, and I just arrived at CSAC. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The CSAC volunteer said that I am very sweet and just loved all the attention I was receiving. I went from person to person to get love and pets. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen.
