Story
Holly is a 6-8 year Collie/Lab Mix (best guess!). She is a sweet, calm and gentle girl. She gets along great with young kids and is not reactive to dogs, bikes, crowds or loud noises. She hasn’t been tested with cats, but has done nicely with other dogs so far. She also appears to be friendly with new people in the home. Holly walks beautifully on a leash and would be a nice jogging partner because she doesn’t stop to sniff on her way! She’s a great co-worker during the day and powers down nicely on her bed nearby. She also sleeps all night with no snoring! Her hobbies include taking brisk walks, receiving belly rubs, eating treats, giving nice hello kisses and taking long naps. At first, she was playing fetch and returning the ball right into our hands, but she has recently lost interest. She hops up and down when excited to go for a walk (super cute!), but doesn’t jump up on people. She is fully housetrained and has been wonderful when left alone at home un-crated – no whining (that we know of) and non-destructive. Holly comes when called and knows how to sit; now she’s learning how to stay and lie down. Fostered in Sacramento, CA $250 Adoption donation includes spayed, vaccinated and chipped.

Story
Dutchess is a female collie mix. We got her as a pup. She is 8 years old now. She is neutered. She's high energy and loyal. She's does great with people. She loves attention and to play. She doesn't usually do well with other animals that aren't ours. Dutchess is a great outdoor dog. She likes to run around and is curious. She is trained for indoor and outdoor. She is kennel trained. Currently she plays around outside during the day and comes inside to sleep in her kennel My wife and I have 2 toddlers and Dutchess has behaved well with them when we had them play together. Dutchess hasn't shown any aggression towards our kids or us. The reason we are rehoming her is because she attacked our cats 4 times now without provocation. She grew up with the cats and our other dog Hero. We don't understand why she attacked the cats. She normally gets along with our cats and Hero. So we decided she needs a home without cats.
