Dante is a STUNNING Border Collie/Shepherd mix. Need we say more? Yes, because being handsome isn't everythingâÂ¦so read onâÂ¦(and check out his pictures below).Poor guy showed up as a 35-lb. stray, all skin and bones. He has since gained 30 lbs., developed confidence, and has shown a loyal heart. His name means `enduring and steadfast` in Italian, and it could not be more fitting. His prior life behind him, he is now eager and ready to work and learn at every training session and will sprint back to you the moment you call his name âÂÂ RECALL IS HIS SUPERPOWER.Over several day trips with volunteers, he has gone from being under-socialized and nervous to an affectionate, engaging pup who clearly enjoys spending time with his people.He understands things quickly and gets more relaxed with each day trip. He loads into the car easily, rides well, and kicks things off with enthusiasm and plenty of kisses. He walks well on a leash, has gone swimming in questionable trail water, conquered sliding store doors and scary stores, and figured out that checking back in with his person is always the right move. He has shown himself to be dog-friendly and very playful. This beautiful boy will thrive with someone who will keep up his training, give him structure, consistency, and continued guidance, and maybe share an In-N-Out burger with him on road trips. Flitz is a very playful, affectionate dog who loves being around people. He enjoys attention, cuddling, and spending time with humans, and he also does well around other dogs and cats. He has a fun, loving personality and would do best with someone who wants a companion they can truly spend time with. Flitz is fully trained and knows his obedience commands. He walks well, understands structure, and is also e-collar trained. He has developed cataracts, which has caused him to become blind, but he has adjusted well and uses his nose, hearing, and awareness to navigate. His blindness does not take away from his happy personality or his ability to enjoy life. Due to moving restrictions, we are no longer able to keep him, and we want to make sure he goes to someone with good intentions who will give him the life he deserves. We are looking for a home that can keep him active, loved, and included, whether that means having a safe yard, regular walks, or a clear plan to give him exercise

Blue is a 4 year old neutered male cattle dog mix with one blue eye and one brown! He is very sweet with people, cats and dogs. He has not been observed around young children. He loves being pet and playing with toys. He is medium energy: he is happy to play fetch or lay on the couch. He is potty trained. His favorite activity is playing fetch at the dog park or going on walks. Blue came from a neglectful environment where he was kept outdoors 24/7 with no interaction and limited resources. You would never guess his past, though, as he is extraordinarily sweet, happy, and outgoing.

Adopted as a puppy through HFP back in 2020, Indigo is looking for a quiet, calm adult home as your one and only! ✅ no separation anxiety ✅ housetrained, crate trained ✅ wonderful base of basic training ✅ smart & trainable ✅ cutest submissive grin/wiggle butt when you come home ✅ moderate activity (relaxed inside but loves to fetch and play!) ✅ doing much better at car travel He was adopted as a 4 month old puppy through HFP but sadly returned 3 years later -- he is currently in a Sacramento Foster home but is really in need of a home of his very own as his foster cannot keep him forever. More about Isco: he has a great base of training and ready to impress you with all his cues, including: Sit, Wait/Stay, Bed, Crate, Down and Off. He walks well on leash and doesn’t pull a ton. He LOVES to sniff everything during his walkies aka Sniffaris ( but doesn’t stop to mark, only sniff). He would do best in a quieter neighborhood as very busy places can make him nervous. Moderate energy -- he loves playing fetch in the backyard and a long daily walk would be ideal for Isco. In the home he is relaxed and independent. He has lived with 2 small dogs in the past and may be able to make dog acquaintances with slow intros but does not have a ton of experience with other dogs at this time. He would do best as prince of the palace as a solo dog in the home. Indigo previously lived with a cat who he loved to play with but can chase other cats, he may do well in a home with a well-matched cat friends; we ALWAYS recommend slow intros into the home/early separation for cats/dogs as they get to know one another. Indigo has the CUTEST prance and loves to play fetch. He is treat motivated which makes continued training and intros to people much more of a breeze. Housetrained, Crate Trained, around 55 lbs. Neutered, Vaccinated, Vetted, ready to be yours! Indigo adoption donation is sponsored. You might be wondering what “sponsored” means. A dog is sponsored when their foster or a donor loves them so much that they cover the adoption donation for a future adopter. This in hopes that the pup finds his or her forever family ASAP!
