Story
Hello, my name is: MillyApprox. DOB: 05/15/2024Sex/Breed: Spayed female Border Collie/German Shepherd mixWeight: 60 lbsRescued from: Found strayMilly is a young, intelligent, and agile girl who’s ready to find her forever home! Once a stray darting through traffic, she’s now safe, thriving, and eager to bond with her person. Milly loves to run and play in the yard and would make a fantastic hiking, agility, or frisbee partner — she’s athletic without being over the top. She’s currently learning her manners (especially that jumping up isn’t polite!) and is doing wonderfully with a patient, consistent hand. Milly gets along well with other dogs and would love a playful companion or regular doggy social time. She’d benefit from having access to a fenced in yard, and a feline-free home. Please help us find this gorgeous girl the forever home she’s been searching for!All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? Story
Meet Our Adventure Squad! We have six energetic, lovable puppies ready to find their forever homes! These cuties are a unique mix of Border Collie and Jack Russell Terriers, surrendered from an Amish farm in Lancaster when they didn’t sell. Now, they’re looking for families who will embrace their zest for life! About the Puppies: Active & Rambunctious: At about 15 lbs each, they’re full of energy and love to play. Happy & Social: They adore people and will bring joy wherever they go. Smart & Curious: With their breed mix, they’re quick learners and thrive on mental stimulation. What They Need: These pups are not for the faint of heart - they’re looking for active families who will take them on adventures, provide plenty of exercise, and keep their minds busy with training and fun activities. Hiking, running, agility, or just lots of playtime—they’ll be your perfect partners in crime! Why You’ll Love Them: If you’re ready for a loyal, loving companion who will fill your days with laughter and excitement, one of these puppies could be your perfect match. They will come neutered/ spayed, vaccinated, microchipped. They would need to meet any resident dogs. At this age, puppy classes will be very important for them to help them grow into the best dogs possible. Please contact Marilyn at 856-275-6905 for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 856-275-6905 (call or text) or via email at Fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com&#226&#128&#139 Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here, you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 January 15, 2026, 2:16 pm
