HI, I&#39M BUD! I&#39M PEOPLE, DOG AND EVEN CAT FRIENDLY. IF YOU&#39D LIKE TO MEE ME, PLEASE FILL OUT THE APPLICATION AT WWW.BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG/APPLICATION OR EMAIL US AT INFO@BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG. Meet Bud! Bud is a 10-year-old Collie mix, weighing 55 pounds of quiet sweetness and gentle charm. With his beautiful coat and soulful eyes, this handsome boy has so much love to give. Bud is a low-energy boy who enjoys a peaceful routine. He walks nicely on a leash, knows his basic commands, and is both house and crate trained -- making him an easy, comfortable companion for a calm home. Bud came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation where he lived among nearly 150 other dogs. Because of that, he didn&#39t get the individual attention and socialization he deserved, and he can be a little skittish when meeting new people. But underneath that initial shyness is a tender, loyal heart just waiting to bond with his person. One thing that truly brings Bud joy is playing with other dogs. He feels most comfortable around his furry friends and loves spending time with them. A home with another friendly dog and a fenced-in backyard where he can safely hang out, explore, and play would be ideal for him. Bud can also live with cats, making him a wonderful option for a multi-pet household. With patience, kindness, and consistency, Bud truly blossoms. He doesn&#39t need much -- just someone willing to move at his pace, focus on him, and show him what it truly means to be loved. In return, he will offer unwavering loyalty and the kind of unconditional love only a grateful dog can give. Bud is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated -- ready to start his new chapter. If you&#39d like to be the hero this beautiful boy has been waiting for, please inquire at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or fill out an application at www.barkvilledogrescue.org. Bud has waited a long time for his person. Maybe that person is you. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from his foster home.March 8, 2026, 12:40 am

Story
Meet Lady, a stunning 1-year-old, 56-pound Rough Collie/Australian Shepherd mix with luscious white fur and a beautiful face like a modern-day Lassie. This fully house-trained girl is a friendly, gentle soul who loves humans, gets along great with other dogs, and does wonderfully with teenagers. Lady is not a fan of the crate but is trustworthy when left free in a room. She is quiet and polite indoors, highly food-motivated and a bit mischievous: you will definitely want to keep snacks away from the counter edges! An active and fun-loving pup, Lady would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and a playful dog sibling to wrestle and play fetch with. She loves going on walks to sniff new smells, though she might pull a bit if she spots a squirrel. Car rides can make her a little anxious and drooly, but she is quickly building confidence with positive exposure. Once playtime is over, this affectionate girl transforms into the ultimate snuggle bug. She will happily shower you with kisses, soak up pets, and curl up right in bed with you at night. To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $450, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, and heartworm testing.

Story
Finn is a 6 month old male Collie mix with a gentle heart, soulful eyes, and a sweet nature that is impossible not to love. Finn is the shyest of the pups in his litter, often hanging back while his brother and sister take the lead in greeting visitors. But don't let his timid first impression fool you - behind his cautious approach is a loving, affectionate pup just waiting for the chance to shine. A few gentle pets, a soft treat or two, and Finn quickly begins to relax so that his sweet personality starts to emerge. Recently, Finn enjoyed a Dog Day Out with one of our volunteers, and it showed what a truly special boy he is. Although he was nervous at first, he bravely explored the Downtown Square, taking in all the sights, sounds, and smells of the world beyond the shelter. He even enjoyed his very first pup cup, showing him that new adventures can often be fun! As the day went on, Finn's confidence grew, and his gentle personality began to shine brighter than ever. His volunteer was completely charmed by this sweet boy and described him as 'such a good dog,' adding that 'Finn will make someone a wonderful companion.' We couldn't agree more! Finn is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with the people he trusts. He's gentle, loving, and eager to find his forever family who will help him continue to build confidence. Come meet Finn soon, and bring home your loyal best friend! Story
Solo is a 5 month old male Collie mix with a sleek black coat that is beautifully accented by brindle markings. Plus, he has a personality that's every bit as wonderful as his good looks … gentle, loving, and all ready to find the family he has been dreaming of. Solo can be a little shy when meeting new people, but his love for human companionship quickly wins out. It doesn't take long for him to warm up, and once he does, you'll discover a sweet, affectionate boy who simply wants to be near his people. His soft heart and eager smile make him impossible not to love. As a young Collie mix, Solo is smart, curious, and eager to learn. He enjoys discovering new things and is ready for a family that will continue helping him grow into the amazing dog he's destined to become. With a little guidance, plenty of love, and some tasty treats, there's no telling what this bright young pup can accomplish. Solo arrived at the shelter with another pup and took comfort in having his brother by his side. But his brother was recently adopted, and now it is Solo's turn to find a forever home of his very own. So if you're looking for a loyal companion with a gentle spirit, a loving heart, and a lifetime of devotion to give, Solo may be the one for you. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Pava is a 6 month old female Collie mix with an adorable face, a sweet tender spirit, and a charming wiry coat that makes her stand out from her brothers. This precious girl is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Currently living peacefully with her two brothers (Kenobi and Finn), Pava has a gentle, loving nature that shines through in everything she does. While she may be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for Pava to warm up and begin showing her affectionate personality. One of the most endearing things about Pava is how much she enjoys being near her people. Even when she's having fun exploring the park with her brothers, she will frequently come back to check on you, as if making sure you're still there. That sweet desire to stay connected illustrates her loving heart and the special bond she is hoping to share with a family of her own.
