Story
A FUN, SWEET & ACTIVE FRIEND:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 27 lbs. and needs to gain some weight Hi, my name’s Kirby!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am so grateful for the love and good care I am receiving from the volunteers.  I heard that it’s time for me to find my furever home, and that makes me soooo happy!  I am currently in the prison/foster training program off-site waiting for you and learning a lot! Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to see when I’m able to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and loved them! I was doing spins, jumping, and playing my heart out with them.  I was also a bit vocal during play. If you have a nice doggie at home who might enjoy a playmate, let’s meet!  / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a happy, handsome guy with a fun and friendly nature.  Playful and sweet, I am eager to see people and show my excitement with lots of tail wags.  I’ve still got a good bit of young doggie in me, as I can be jumpy and a little mouthy when I play, but I’m working on that with my trainer.  I am sure to be a fun addition to a lucky family!  My energy level is 5 - 7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I look forward to learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer. I’ve already mastered the ‘sit’ and ‘stay’ commands and look forward to learning even more. I’m learning my leash now, and my trainer is working with me on my weaving.  Once I master that, I bet we can enjoy some fun walks together. Check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having some accidents on the shelter schedule.  Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I like toys and look forward to lots of play sessions with you and other fun adventures! We can discover lots of things we like doing together. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a loving home with great furever family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  April 19, 2024, 7:21 am

Story
My given name is Dolly Holly, but my foster family calls me Dior because I am bougie. I am an 8 year old collie mix and I weigh 55 pounds.   I am a high maintenance girl who likes things just so, I can be shy when you first meet me. I definitely prefer women to men, but will warm up once I know you. I LOVE walks and sitting outside or playing with a tennis ball, if I am in the mood I will fetch.     I love food, belly rubs, snuggling, and being brushed. I very much dislike nail trims and bathes. Yuck!    I am fine with other dogs if you introduce me properly, but ultimately, I love my person more than playing with dogs. If you are my person I will escort you everywhere. I am also fine with older kids, but I get nervous with babies and toddlers who move quickly.     I might try to sit on your lap despite being too big. Remember it's all about me!   Are you looking for that special someone to love and spoil? If so, I might be your girl!     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.           April 19, 2024, 5:17 pm

Story
Rex is a 1- 2yr old male cattle dog mix (7/2022) aprox 30lbs. Rex is coming out of his shell. He has been in rescue a few short months building confidence and learning skills to be forever home ready. He still takes a little time to warm up, but with a few feedings, he will be your forever friend. If you need to make an instant connection with a dog Rex is probably not going to be your dog as he sits quietly and wide-eyed in his crate at adoptions. He is quiet in his crate and considers that his safe relaxation place. He likes soft blankets in his crate. Rex goes outside to potty and walks with you around the yard jumping up to kiss the tips of your fingers. He will eventually become a snuggler, but that has to happen on his terms when he feels safe and loved. Rex is NOT good with cats. Rex would not mind a female dog that is close to his size to play with. adoption fee $300 includes spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms. To fill out an application visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic ##1912824##
