Story
Hi friends! My name is Willy. I'm a border collie mix of sorts and quite handsome if I do say so myself. I'm a bit of a special dog, a real shy guy, but if someone would just give me a chance I will make a great companion. I love other dogs, as long as they're friendly, and I absolutely must go to a home with another friendly dog or two to show me I'm in a safe place. We all need some reassurance sometimes, right? I also need a fenced yard. Whoever my new owner is will need to be able to give me lots of time and space to feel comfortable with them. I'm a really good boy, I'm crate trained and house broken, but until I get used to you I'm gonna need you to keep your paws to yourself. I promise it's not personal, and you'll see I'm worth the wait! Willy is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. He's located at The Pet Connection Sanctuary in Beloit, KS, but transportation to the right home may be available. Let Cami be the queen of your castle! She is such a sweet, shy girl who wants desperately to be loved and we have no doubt that she will steal your heart. She enjoys peaceful activities with her people. (Check out her fishing adventure in Minnesota last winter!) It's going to take Cami a bit to trust and she'd appreciate a home where there aren't a bunch of visitors coming and going. While she can be picky about her canine friends, a super social dog might just do the trick. Of course, Cami would be perfectly satisfied being your one and only, too. Either way, she promises to love you to the moon and back! Cami's around eight years old and is a very polite house guest. Meet Blitz, our friend with City of Raytown Animal Services! She's a fun-loving border collie mix, around a year old. She is super smart, loves other dogs and kids, and is looking for a home with people who are familiar with or willing to learn about herding breed dogs. Blitz loves going on adventures and is a very good girl in the car! When her friend took her on a day out of the shelter, including to pick out a toy, Blitz had soooo much fun!
