Story
Herbert is a quirky, smart dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s incredibly loyal, loves to snuggle, enjoys car rides and walks, and knows sit, crate, leave it, come, and place. He’s fearless, funny, and guaranteed to keep you smiling. Herbert is truly a one-person dog who wants his own human to bond with. He thrives as the only pet, where he doesn’t have to share attention and can be someone’s full-time best friend and co-pilot. He loves structure, routine, and being part of whatever you’re doing. He’s bright, eager to learn, and occasionally shows classic heeler-style nips when excited, but with boundaries and consistency he settles in well. We’re rehoming him because the fit with our pets isn’t right. Herbert is ready for a home where he can be the center of someone’s world — and he’ll give you unmatched loyalty in return.

Story
Marley • 6 Years Old • 70 lbs Australian Cattle Dog / Labrador Retriever Mix (Best Guess Meet Marley! Marley is a sweet, happy 6-year-old mixed breed girl who’s ready to find her forever home. She’s housebroken and making great progress with crate training — sleeping quietly in her crate at night, though she prefers to be out and about during the day. Marley currently lives with a large-breed canine companion and does wonderfully with other dogs. She loves spending time outdoors and will require a securely fenced yard to safely enjoy her favorite pastime. At around 70 pounds, Marley is a solid girl who could benefit from a little fitness routine — and she’s happy to work on that with her future family 😉 Marley is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. One thing she’s continuing to work on is her greeting manners. She gets very excited when her people come home and has a tendency to jump up out of pure joy. This behavior was allowed in her previous home, but she’s learning that all four paws belong on the floor — and she’s doing well with consistent, positive reinforcement. Her future family will want to continue reinforcing these good habits. Because of her size and enthusiasm, Marley would do best in a home with older children. If you’re looking for a loving, happy companion who’s eager to please and ready to keep learning, Marley may be your perfect match! Marley’s breed mix is a best guess based on appearance; her exact breed makeup is unknown. All of our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines. Adoption fee for all dogs/pups: $225. Our dogs are in foster homes across the KC metro. We do not have a shelter facility. Apply here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HAUS/Dog

Meet Carlsbad — Your Spirited, Snuggly Sidekick! 🐾 Carlsbad is a young Red Heeler/Pit Bull mix bursting with adorable puppy energy and big charm. He’s curious, playful, cuddly, and always ready to be part of whatever his people are doing. This friendly guy gets along great with dogs, cats, and children. In classic heeler fashion, he may try to herd his friends, but he’s learning quickly and his puppy manners are coming along beautifully. He’s outgrown his mouthy puppy phase and is turning into a polite, eager-to-please companion. Carlsbad already has some impressive “big dog” skills, too — he has free roam of his foster home and reliably uses the doggie door. He is fully housetrained as well! He absolutely loves having the freedom to pop outside for a sniff, adventure, or zoomie session, so a fenced yard would make him very happy. When he’s not exploring, Carlsbad is a total cuddler who enjoys curling up with his humans and soaking up affection. He’d thrive with a family who enjoys an active, smart, affectionate pup and is ready to keep up with his fun-loving heeler spirit. If you’re looking for a playful adventure buddy who also gives A+ snuggles, Carlsbad is your guy. 💛 ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. Story
Arrow is a precious 7-week-old Heeler mix with the softest puppy eyes and the sweetest little soul. She’s still very much a baby — which means lots of naps, tiny stretches, and soaking up the world one curious glance at a time. This snuggly girl’s favorite place to sleep? Right on her humans. 🥹 She melts into your chest, tucks in close, and snoozes like it’s her full-time job. When she’s awake, she’s gently exploring her surroundings and learning all about this big, exciting world. Arrow is already working on crate training and potty training like a smart little Heeler mix should. With consistency, patience, and lots of love, she’s going to grow into an incredible companion. If you’re ready for puppy kisses, cozy naps, and watching a baby discover life for the very first time — Arrow is your girl. 💛 ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. Story
Dale was adopted as an emotional support dog for a retired soldier with PTSD. Due to a move out of state, his owner was unable to take Dale with him. Dale is an incredibly loving dog who enjoys close companionship and cuddling. He often jumps up to sit on my lap or curls up at the end of my bed. He loves being outdoors and especially enjoys long walks, ideally in areas where he can be off-leash, though he does very well on a leash when required. He is kennel trained and goes to his kennel independently at bedtime with a simple verbal cue (“go to kennel”). Dale is well-mannered, affectionate, and eager to be with his people. While I would love to keep Dale, my busy schedule doesn’t allow me to give him the daily walks, playtime, and attention he deserves. He would thrive in a home with someone who has the time to walk him daily, play with him regularly, and enjoy his affectionate nature.

Story
Meet Ziggy! This boy is a super speedy ball of energy and FUN! You absolutely can never get bored with him around. It's difficult to tell in a photo, but he is a super fun sized guy weighing in at only 38 lbs.! He's the perfect fit if you're looking for someone who can kick it with the big dogs, and has a big personality, but in a compact size! Ziggy is about 5 years old, he loves to play with his friends and definitely keeps us all laughing with his goofy, zoomie personality. Ziggy craves social interaction, from humans and other dogs. His previous owner left him alone on a tie out often, which caused him to have some separation anxiety. Having other dogs to play with has definitely helped him in this area, but he will still need a home where he will not be alone long hours of the day everyday. He would also do best in a home with a canine companion to play with. Ziggy will need an active family, he is a fun loving, high energy dog. He would not be an appropriate fit for someone who does not have the time to give him a lot of daily exercise and activity. Ziggy loves kids, but he is pretty hyper and needs to work on manners, so he may be to much for small toddlers and babies. However, older kids would be okay. Ziggy needs at least a 6 foot fence for any home with a yard, he can jump a four foot fence. Ziggy would be best in a home without cats or really tiny dogs as he wants to chase and play and is just a little to much for them. He is crate trained and should transition into housetraining quickly. If you have another dog, we will want to introduce them to ensure that they get along well.

Story
Jamie is a very sweet and snuggly girl! She has really bad anxiety and because of that she barks a ton and chews on anything she can get her paws on. She doesn’t like being left alone for more than a few hours. Very playful and a lot of crazy mixed in- she likes to wrestle with dogs her size, so she can get a little much at times with that and her bark. At the moment she’s in the kennel a lot more than I’d like her to be, but unfortunately have made the decision to try and find a new loving home for her, where she can run, play, snuggle, etc. I got her from a shelter in Oklahoma in August of 2025 and she is about to be two in August of 2026. She needs someone who can be there with her a lot to play and probably go on walks. I also have been wanting to get her into obedience classes, but don’t have the funds at the moment to get her in. My work schedule doesn’t allow for me to be home very much in the evenings and late nights, same as my parents schedules as well. Any concerns?

Story
🧠 Big brain alert! 🧠 And lucky for you, this big brain lives inside a very pretty boy 🐾named Tyson 🐾. He is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd, and is typical of this wonderful breed, looking for action and intellectual stimulation. He weighs about 60 pounds. Tyson is well trained and knows tons of commands, including: sit, stay, lay down and shake. He is also responsive to whistles, and he will wait until his command to eat his food. He walks fine on a leash and is crate trained and house trained. Show him or teach him what else you would like him to do, and he’ll be all about it. Tyson is affectionate and loving to his people, and he gets along well with kids. You’ll want to pet that beautiful coat of his, and he’ll be happy to let you! He’ll do best in an active home with people who will further this training and give him opportunities to do jobs and/or go on outings, to feed that bring brain of his. He gets along ok with female dogs, but Tyson is reactive to male dogs. He should live in a cat-free home, as well. So if you want a boy who will keep you busy and keep you thinking on your feet, Tyson absolutely is your guy. No need for other dogs around when you have Tyson to play with and train. Tyson is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, as well as current on preventatives for heartworm and flea/tick. His adoption fee is $175. To meet Tyson, get approved to adopt, and his foster will contact you to set up a meeting. Apply today at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤
