Story
🐾 Meet Jack! 🐾 Jack is a 15-month-old Border Collie mix weighing just under 60 pounds, and if you’re looking for a sweet, social, easygoing companion, this handsome boy checks all the boxes. Jack came to us from Oklahoma after being rescued from a truly heartbreaking situation. Despite his difficult start, he hasn’t let his past define him. Instead, he’s proven to be one of the kindest, happiest dogs you’ll ever meet. This lovable guy adores everyone. He is said to be wonderful with kids, teenagers, adults, cats, and dogs of every size—Jack is happy to make friends with them all. He has wonderful manners around food, treats, toys, and chewies, showing no signs of resource guarding with either people or other dogs. In his foster home, Jack has become fast friends with his foster siblings, a German Shepherd mix and a Cattle Dog mix. While he’ll play with toys occasionally, he’d much rather spend his time wrestling with another dog or hanging out with his people. When playtime is over, Jack is all about the cuddles. He’s incredibly affectionate and sometimes gives the sweetest little hugs by gently putting his paws up to say hello. He’s also eager to please and responds well to gentle guidance, happily getting back down when asked. Jack is already showing great house manners, too. He consistently goes to the door when he needs to go outside, has done well in a kennel while his foster is away, and settles nicely overnight after a few moments of protest. He’s a smart, responsive young dog who is eager to learn and ready to continue becoming an amazing family companion. If you’re looking for a dog with the playful spirit of a young pup, the loving heart of a best friend, and the temperament to fit into almost any family, Jack is ready to meet you. ❤️ ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. Story
Olive aka "Olive Roo" because she resembles a Kangaroo is 4 years old and ~25lbs. Olive has a very chill temperament, gets along with other dogs, looks out for the children, likes to be outside to play and walk. She's very much a lady and gets embarrassed and turns her back when she uses the potty and she sees you cleaning it up. Olive likes to cuddle and loves extra treats in the evening before bed. In Olive's new home, she can be the only dog or a part of a pack of furry friends.

Story
Meet Lola 🖤🐾 Lola is a one-year-old Lab mix with a big personality, a bigger heart, and energy for days. At around 55–60 pounds, she’s still very much a playful puppy who is learning the ropes—and she’s looking for an active home ready to help her grow into her best self. Lola is incredibly affectionate and people-loving. She thrives on attention and connection, and at the end of the day, her favorite place is curled up next to her person enjoying some well-earned snuggles. She’s also very smart and highly treat-motivated, making her a great candidate for continued training. She loves learning and is eager to please. She already has a great foundation: * 🐾 Crate trained * 🐾 Potty trained * 🐾 Walks well on a leash (though she may get excited and pull at first!) Lola is currently looking for a home where she can be the only pet. She isn’t aggressive—she simply has a very energetic, enthusiastic play style that isn’t always well received by other dogs. She’s working hard on learning appropriate boundaries, and we’re hopeful that with continued training and slow, patient introductions, she may one day be able to enjoy canine companionship. For now, we’re still learning what works best for her. Like many young, active dogs, Lola can get into mischief if she’s bored. Structure, enrichment, and plenty of appropriate outlets help her thrive. She absolutely loves water, playing fetch, toys, brain games, and anything that keeps her mind and body busy. An active family who enjoys getting out and having fun will be right up her alley. One important note: Lola is a fence jumper and can clear a 6-foot fence, so she’ll need supervised outdoor time or another secure setup to keep her safe. Lola may still have a few puppy quirks, but underneath all that enthusiasm is a loving, loyal dog who just wants to be close to her people. With patience, consistency, and love, she’s going to make an incredible companion. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate dog who will keep you active, make you laugh, and happily snuggle up with you at the end of the day, Lola is ready to meet you. 💙 ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt.
