Hi, I'm Buddy, and if you're looking for a built-in best friend and adventure buddy, you've found him! I'm a 5-month-old shepherd mix weighing about 30 pounds, and I'll likely grow into a 60lb. sidekick. Even though I'm still a puppy, I've already mastered potty training and sleeping through the night in my kennel. Now for the fun part: playtime! I love puzzle toys, chew toys, crinkly toys, toys I can toss in the air...honestly, I haven't met a toy I don't like yet! I'm just as crazy about friends as I am about toys. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and never say no to a playdate. As for people? I've never met a stranger—I think everyone is a potential new best friend! I'm also a curious little shadow. I love following my foster parents around to see what they're up to, but I'm pretty good at "reading the room," too. If they're busy, I'm happy to entertain myself with a toy nearby or curl up for a quick power nap until it's time for our next adventure. Cats? We unfortunately will have to say no cats for me. I just like to chase and play too much. If you're looking for a smart, goofy, affectionate pup who's always up for fun but knows how to settle, I just might be your perfect match! Jake is a 5 year-old ACD/blue healer. We are told he’s all blue healer. He’s appx 50 lbs, healthy, no special diet. We took Jake into our home 1 year ago. Jake lived with his owner at a local lake (his job was keeping geese away) where we spent weekends. His owner died, we took iJake. His adjustment seemed good, until March. We saw he was becoming sad and unsettled. We’ve been working with our vet, behavioral specialist, and he had a physical therapist for a consult. ALL is 100% fine. We all think my house is just overwhelming for him: we have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and sometimes even the 3rd dog. JAKE IS NOT THE PROBLEM, WE ARE. Jake needs a calm environment! Jake is perfect. NEVER pottied inside, destroyed anything. Great on leash, never ran off. He is sweet and loving. Other dogs can be overwhelming, so if there is another as long as it’s calm. He is great around cats. He wants to go for walks, rides, play ball/soft disk, hurd balls. He’s smart, and the best companion.

Hi friends! My name is Willy. I'm a border collie mix of sorts and quite handsome if I do say so myself. I'm a bit of a special dog, a real shy guy, but if someone would just give me a chance I will make a great companion. I love other dogs, as long as they're friendly, and I absolutely must go to a home with another friendly dog or two to show me I'm in a safe place. We all need some reassurance sometimes, right? I also need a fenced yard. Whoever my new owner is will need to be able to give me lots of time and space to feel comfortable with them. I'm a really good boy, I'm crate trained and house broken, but until I get used to you I'm gonna need you to keep your paws to yourself. I promise it's not personal, and you'll see I'm worth the wait! Willy is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. He's located at The Pet Connection Sanctuary in Beloit, KS, but transportation to the right home may be available. Let Cami be the queen of your castle! She is such a sweet, shy girl who wants desperately to be loved and we have no doubt that she will steal your heart. She enjoys peaceful activities with her people. (Check out her fishing adventure in Minnesota last winter!) It's going to take Cami a bit to trust and she'd appreciate a home where there aren't a bunch of visitors coming and going. While she can be picky about her canine friends, a super social dog might just do the trick. Of course, Cami would be perfectly satisfied being your one and only, too. Either way, she promises to love you to the moon and back! Cami's around eight years old and is a very polite house guest.
