The Ultimate Roommate: He is completely housebroken and has impeccable house manners. He doesn't jump on the furniture and has already learned that treats are enjoyed inside his crate.
Social Butterfly (with Dogs): He gets along famously with other pups! He is currently coexisting beautifully with his foster sibling with absolutely zero drama.
Whip-Smart & Eager to Please: He already knows his basic commands and is a fast learner. On a recent hike in the woods, he did amazing on a long-drop lead—his recall is surprisingly fantastic!

🏡 His Perfect Match:
He is a bit of a "velcro dog" right now, which makes his recall great but also means he loves his humans deeply. Because of this, he does experience some separation anxiety. His foster family is actively working on crate training and solo time, but he will thrive best in an active household where people are home more often than not.
Leash Manners: He’s not terrible on a leash, but he’s still practicing his loose-leash walking. A little continued guidance will have him walking like a pro in no time.
Kids & Cats: Unknown. He ignores them when he sees them out and about, but he hasn't shared a living space with them yet.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
