Meet Rogue! 🖤🐾 If you're looking for a loyal best friend who's as beautiful as she is rewarding, Rogue may be your perfect match. This gorgeous girl has a stunning coat, an even bigger personality, and so much potential. Rogue can be shy when meeting new people and needs a little time to feel safe, but with patience and understanding, her sweet, playful side begins to shine. Watching her confidence grow is incredibly rewarding, and we know she's going to make an amazing companion for the right family. Rogue is looking for a patient adopter with dog experience who understands that building trust takes time. She'll do best in a quiet home away from the hustle and bustle of apartment or city living, where she can settle in at her own pace. Because she's still gaining confidence, we think she'd be happiest in an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy teens. One thing we already know? Rogue is a smart girl! She's eager to learn and will thrive with training as she continues to build confidence. She also has a playful, goofy side that's just waiting to come out once she feels comfortable. And if you're looking for a road trip buddy, Rogue has you covered! She loves being a passenger princess and is always happy to hop in the car for the next adventure. If you have a quiet home, a patient heart, and are looking for a dog whose trust is earned and deeply rewarding, come meet Rogue. We have a feeling this beautiful girl is going to steal your heart. 💙

She is a medium energy gal who loves a good romp in the yard, playing chase with her friends, and jumping in her favorite puppy pool. She is looking for a patient person willing to give her the time and space she needs to come out of her shell.Strawberry is great with other dogs and enjoys playing with her fur buddies in her foster home, approaching new dogs with a gentle, non-confrontational energy. She has not been around cats, but her timid and submissive nature suggests she would likely do well with a feline sibling. She has met a few children and tends to be shy with new people at first, so she would do best with a family who can give her time and space to get comfortable.Strawberry is a bright girl who loves chew toys, bones, and chewy treats. She is fully crate trained and will even crate herself willingly. She is fully house trained, going to the door and waiting to be let out after her crate time. She walks on leash but is shy and may hang back at first, so she would benefit from a patient handler and possibly a dog buddy to help build her confidence on walks. This sweet, quirky girl has come so far already and just needs the right person to help her keep blooming. Could you be that person for Strawberry Jam?Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. Story
There are five adorable puppies in our Primrose litter of 10 week old orphans that have just joined our Connecticut Rescue: Claudia, Eliza, Marius, Primrose and Rayne. All the pups in this litter have gentle temperaments and playful, friendly personalities. Despite the chaotic shelter process, these pups have weathered the storm and show no obvious signs of trauma or neglect.  It appears that the pups’ owner unwittingly facilitated an accidental breeding of unaltered adult housemates and then was overwhelmed by puppy love. She offloaded the puppies to a high kill rural North Carolina Shelter, and we were able to transport them to our place in Canterbury, Connecticut.  We have had the puppies DNA tested, and they are a diverse mix of breeds, but 56% of that mix is Collie. The weight range is projected at 40 to 60 pounds, and their working roots suggest that adopters should be prepared to provide a lot of exercise and mental stimulation.  Any of these pups would be an excellent choice for a savvy Working Breed adopter, willing to commit to ongoing training and socialization. They have taken well to basic puppy Positive Reinforcement training techniques and seem to enjoy the learning process. We seek adopters willing to raise them as Canine Good Citizens.  All of these pups could easily join multi-dog homes with older, playful dogs, tolerant of puppy energy. They would thrive with an active single, couple or family with older kids who have been taught to be gentle with young dogs.  All puppies are in excellent health, fully vaccinated and dewormed. If you are interested in one of our Primrose litter mates, please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call/text Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info.

Story
**AVAILABLE FOR PRE APPROVAL FOR June 27th** Ren is a handsome Collie mix with a gentle soul who just needed someone to believe in him. When he arrived at the shelter as a stray, he was terrified of everything around him. The noise, chaos, and unfamiliar surroundings left him overwhelmed and shut down. He'll be arriving to our rescue on June 27th, ready for a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Once this beautiful boy feels safe, Ren is sure to become a loyal and devoted best friend.
