This eight month old Collie/Lab mix is sweet, smart and playful. We’re absolutely enchanted with his handsome little face and those big, floppy ears. Rhett wants his future family to know that he’s working hard to learn new skills, so he can be the best boy in his new home! He just started leash training and walks pretty calmly. He’s also crate trained and doesn’t mind car rides. The early stages of potty training are going very well. He’s a bit jumpy, but that’s normal and can be easily corrected with training. He just can’t help how excited he is to see you! Rhett dreams of finding a loving family that’s committed to training, daily exercise and positive reinforcement of good behavior. He’s a star student, so we’re confident that training will be a worthwhile and enjoyable experience for him and his family. It takes a lot of time and patience to bring up puppies like Rhett, but the love they give back is so worth it. Could Rhett be the newest addition to your fur-ever family? Her personality is friendly and sweet. When she looks up at you with those big puppy eyes and floppy ears you`ll instantly melt with love and affection for her. Piper can be a bit selective about what dogs can join her inner circle, so she likely would not be the best fit for a lifestyle that inlcudes doggy daycare or the dog park. Please consider coming by and meeting this very special girl. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. Maple is affectionate, playful, and smart, but she carries a touch of shyness that makes her even more endearing. She warms up quickly with kindness and absolutely blossoms once she feels safe.
