Story
There are five adorable puppies in our Primrose litter of 10 week old orphans that have just joined our Connecticut Rescue: Claudia, Eliza, Marius, Primrose and Rayne. All the pups in this litter have gentle temperaments and playful, friendly personalities. Despite the chaotic shelter process, these pups have weathered the storm and show no obvious signs of trauma or neglect.  It appears that the pups’ owner unwittingly facilitated an accidental breeding of unaltered adult housemates and then was overwhelmed by puppy love. She offloaded the puppies to a high kill rural North Carolina Shelter, and we were able to transport them to our place in Canterbury, Connecticut.  We have had the puppies DNA tested, and they are a diverse mix of breeds, but 56% of that mix is Collie. The weight range is projected at 40 to 60 pounds, and their working roots suggest that adopters should be prepared to provide a lot of exercise and mental stimulation.  Any of these pups would be an excellent choice for a savvy Working Breed adopter, willing to commit to ongoing training and socialization. They have taken well to basic puppy Positive Reinforcement training techniques and seem to enjoy the learning process. We seek adopters willing to raise them as Canine Good Citizens.  All of these pups could easily join multi-dog homes with older, playful dogs, tolerant of puppy energy. They would thrive with an active single, couple or family with older kids who have been taught to be gentle with young dogs.  All puppies are in excellent health, fully vaccinated and dewormed. If you are interested in one of our Primrose litter mates, please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call/text Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info.

Story
This sweet sensitive lady`s name is Lily. Just like her name, Lily needs some time and TLC to blossom into the happiest version of herself. Lily can be worried and slow to warm up, so she would do best with a family that can meet her where she`s at. She would love to go on long walks and cuddle up on the couch after a long day. Lily could potentially live with another calm dog friend, but doesn`t mind being your one and only either. She has never lived with cats or kids, but could potentially go home to some older kids that can respect her boundaries.

These pups are in Providence, Rhode Island too!

Story
adoption donation : $499 weight 32 lbs Age 1 year Ginger is a beautiful, super friendly girl who loves everyone she meets, her tail never stops wagging! This loving girl was found in Puerto Rico sitting under a coconut tree on a beach known to be a place where people dump dogs. A kindly couple saw her there and assumed she was waiting for her owners but three days later she was still in the same spot, hungry, and trembling. The couple took her in and discovered she was the sweetest dog ever! They had her spayed and vaccinated and on February 6 this lucky girl arrived to her new foster home in the northeast, ready for a loving family of her own. Ginger doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body, she is all kisses, wiggles and wags! She loves other dogs and is gentle with children. Ginger is medium energy and loves to run around outside but when she’s home she likes to curl up with her toys or a bone or try to snuggle on her foster parents laps! Ginger is completely housebroken and fully grown at 32 pounds. She will make some lucky family a wonderful new addition. Wags of Monroe county is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Adoption fee includes the transport, vaccines, microchip and spay. For more information on adopting any of our Wags dogs please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com

Story
Meet Bandit! Adoption Fee: $449 includes transport Adoption Application - Copy & Paste https://forms.gle/FmtRtYxQNnemdkdw9 Bandit is a fun-loving, energetic Australian Cattle Dog mix — we think he might be a Cowboy Corgi, thanks to his petite size, short little legs, and that classic cattle dog coloring and personality. Bandit was found wandering and brought to the local shelter, where his foster mom instantly fell in love. True to his breed, Bandit tends to bond closely with one person (his foster dad is his favorite!), but he’s friendly and affectionate with everyone he meets. He’s a social butterfly who loves greeting new people and dogs — he recently charmed the crowd at a local Oktoberfest! This clever boy is always up for learning something new. When he first visited the dock with his foster siblings, Bandit was nervous around water. But just a couple of weeks later, he was leaping off the ramp to fetch toys — life vest and all! He’d make an amazing little dock-diving partner. Fetch is one of his favorite games, and tennis balls are pure joy in his world. Bandit also loves getting out for walks and hikes. Exploring new places and sniffing everything along the way are some of his favorite ways to spend time with his people. Bandit currently lives with three other dogs, two cats, and gets along great with children. Like many herding breeds, he can be a bit mouthy and may try to herd smaller animals, so a home that understands cattle dog behavior would be ideal. Bandit would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. After a day of adventures, he’s also a world-class snuggler who loves curling up for cuddles at night. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, and spunky companion, Bandit just might be your perfect match!
