Story
Meet Kacee! Say hello to Kacee, a 6-month-old, 31 lb. mixed breed pup who might have a bit of Collie in her lineage—and definitely has a heart full of love. Found as a stray down in Alabama, she’s now getting her first real taste of home life in foster care and slowly learning that the world isn’t so scary after all.In her local foster home, Kacee is putting in the work on house training and crate training, but leash walking is still a brand-new concept for her. She is very shy and will need an experienced, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Because of this, a fenced-in yard is a must, as she’s not yet comfortable on walks and feels safest in secure outdoor spaces.Kacee gains a lot of confidence from her canine companions, so she would do best in a home with at least one playful, dog-social pup to help show her the ropes. She could also go to a home with cats and teenagers who can give her the gentle encouragement she needs. If you’ve got a soft spot for the underdog and the patience to help a timid pup blossom, Kacee is ready to find safety and love in your home. Her foster says, `Kacee is very sweet and loving! She loves to be outside! If it was up to her she would spend all day every day outside. She watches the birds and butterflies and naps! She is crate trained but does whine a little bit. She does eventually quiet down. She is almost potty trained with very few accidents! The leash training has been a challenge. I think it scares her. She will need more work on that. She sleeps on her crate blanket during the day and at night. It gives her comfort. She does have food and toy guarding. She just grumbles when one of the other dogs get too close while she has a toy. I feed her by herself in a room with a puppy gate, but if one of the other dogs come to the door she will grumble. She has never gotten aggressive with any of the other dogs. She loves our cat Milo! They get along great! She needs a quiet home by herself or with a cat. She needs lots of love and affection with positive reinforcement. She loves feeding time and treats too! With time she will be a great addition to a family!`She is available for adoption by appointment in Hopkinton, MA. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safet

Story
Meet Klover – A True Hidden Gem 💎Klover is available for adoption — but we don't expect her to be available for long! At 5 years old, this gentle, sweet soul has already captured our hearts, and we know she’ll do the same to yours.Found as a stray in Memphis, Klover was taken in by a kind woman who, despite loving her dearly, couldn’t provide the care Klover needed. That’s when we stepped in to help, and we’re so glad we did.Since arriving, Klover has shown us just how special she is. She’s calm, affectionate, and incredibly gentle — one of the most good-natured dogs we’ve ever met. She’s currently being treated for a severe ear infection, will soon be spayed, and has tested positive for heartworm, which we will fully treat. Her foster mom can’t say enough good things about Klover. She thrives in a home with other dogs, cats, and children and gets along beautifully with everyone. We hope you'll fall in love with Klover just like we have. She’s ready for a forever home where she can finally be cherished the way she deserves.Videos:https://youtube.com/shorts/In5TP39CMcc?si=uhUND2aGitrK9XqPPlaying. https://youtu.be/yiAxh1SaErM?si=WLGjG9QvX3NoXVCjShake. https://youtube.com/shorts/PLQALPaBysQ?si=sWa8fdkb0RPkNrnFFetch. https://youtube.com/shorts/In5TP39CMcc?si=Mq7zN2SRpx4fNU8wvName: KloverBreed: Collie/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 5 years  (estimated)Weight: 75.0Spayed/Neutered: Not yet, to be scheduledVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Positive on recent testing. Story
Amber sure lives up to her name where the color of amber imbues, warmth, positivity and wisdom. Would you see when you first meet this beautiful, young girl is an 18 month, 60 pound Collie mix that loves to receive affection as well as nd she has so much to give back. This girl just want to be right by your side and enjoy the people round her.  She was found by some local residents in a very small, rural community but soon realized that no one was looking for this very good girl. Critter cavalry rescue volunteers readily took her in and quickly found out how smart she is.  As she is learning to walk on a leash, we also have learned that due to being astray and wandering on her own for a while. She is developed a bit of a clingy personality that will need a little bit of work and reassurance. Amber loves to play with her stuffed bunny who seems to be her BFF and she also likes to be brushed. She's a sweetheart with other dogs, but we haven't had a chance to cat. Test her and can, if that is a trait that you desire her to be good at.  Critter Cavalry Rescue is offering this girl as a special companion to a family or individuals who just want a good dog.   Please email at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 10, 2025, 12:27 am
