She has a nice personality, no aggression. She will chase a cat for fun, but won't hurt. She's a good eater, great in the car, and will sit for a treat. She likes to sleep on a dog bed. Imagine spending your life in a place where love is scarce, comfort is almost nonexistent, and the world beyond those walls is something you can only dream of. That was Zukie's reality. At just three years old, this precious little girl was found living in a hoarding house, surrounded by heartbreaking conditions no dog should ever have to endure. Instead of a safe, clean place to sleep, a loving hand to reach for, or a family to call her own, Zukie was trapped in a world where the most basic needs and comforts of life were missing. No dog deserves to live that way. Every dog deserves kindness, security, and the chance to know what it feels like to truly belong.
