Story
Layla is the definition of an old soul — gentle, thoughtful, and full of quiet love. She has a calm, comforting presence that makes you feel at ease the moment you meet her. After spending some time in foster, Layla made her way up to New England and has been settling in beautifully. She’s currently living with dogs of all sizes and does great with everyone, but she truly shines in a peaceful environment where she can relax and be her soft, sweet self. With her stunning collie looks (and maybe a little shepherd mixed in!), Layla is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. She’s a shy girl at first, but once she trusts you, her gentle and loving nature really comes through. She’s the kind of dog who will quietly become your whole heart. She deserves a calm, patient home that will give her the love and security she’s been waiting for "A true heart dog"  DOB @ 3/4/21/63 lbs Shepherd/Collie mix (just a guess)!dog friendly & best as second dog in homewould love a more chill home/she’s a shy galfully vetted  Fostered locally in Massachusetts - APPLY TODAY to meet her!!! *Please note: We're an all-volunteer organization, and incomplete applications cannot be processed.* If you're interested in adopting a GBP rescue PAL, please submit an application through the link below. Story
As a rescue, We do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. Meet MANGO the boy has found himself in animal control, he did nothing wrong his humans have abandoned him 💔☹️, they deserve a pup like him. Dog friendly, playful, loves attention, and belly rubs this is how I would describe him. Fully vetted, neutered. And microchipped. Would make a great companion, walking buddy or just relax and cuddle with you on the sofa. Adopt MANGO

These pups are in Boston, Massachusetts too!

She strikes the perfect balance between playful energy and cuddly companionship that will bring endless smiles and melt your heart. She’s always happy to be part of the action - whether that means romping around the yard, heading out for a walk, or simply hanging out with her favorite humans. With her cheery personality and affectionate nature, Maxine brings a whole lot of joy wherever she goes.Maxine is a friendly girl who truly enjoys the company of others. She loves playing with other dogs and hasn’t had any trouble making new furry friends. She’s also lived peacefully with cats and has done wonderfully with an 8-year-old child, making her a great fit for a family environment. Like many young pups, she can get a little extra excited and may jump up to say hello, but she’s diligently working on her manners and learning quickly with guidance and of course, treats!Maxine is off to a fantastic start with her training and is so close to being fully house trained. She does great in her crate for a few hours during the day and is building a solid routine. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys getting out to explore, though she’s still developing her doggie confidence. Maxine is eager to learn, responds well to correction, and is already picking up great habits. With her playful spirit, loving heart, and willingness to learn, she’s ready to blossom into an amazing lifelong companion for one lucky family.Ready for a built-in best friend and daily dose of happy? She is a medium energy gal who loves zooming around the backyard with her foster siblings and carrying a small stuffy around in her mouth. She would thrive in a calm, quiet home that will give her the time and space to get comfortable on her own terms. After a little decompression time, Cindy had no issues with any of the resident dogs in her foster home and would do well with a canine sibling. She has shown zero interest in the cats and would do just fine with a feline sibling. She has been great with kids but does best with dog-savvy kids who understand that she needs a calm, gentle approach to feel at ease.Cindy is a smart girl with a sweet soul who is learning to build confidence every day. She is fully crate trained and does great overnight and throughout the day. She is mostly house trained and does best when taken outside immediately after leaving her kennel, and will continue to improve with a consistent routine. Cindy is working on her leash skills and is still building confidence with a leash on. This sweet girl has so much love to give.
