Story
Layla is the definition of an old soul — gentle, thoughtful, and full of quiet love. She has a calm, comforting presence that makes you feel at ease the moment you meet her. After spending some time in foster, Layla made her way up to New England and has been settling in beautifully. She’s currently living with dogs of all sizes and does great with everyone, but she truly shines in a peaceful environment where she can relax and be her soft, sweet self. With her stunning collie looks (and maybe a little shepherd mixed in!), Layla is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. She’s a shy girl at first, but once she trusts you, her gentle and loving nature really comes through. She’s the kind of dog who will quietly become your whole heart. She deserves a calm, patient home that will give her the love and security she’s been waiting for "A true heart dog"  DOB @ 3/4/21/63 lbs Shepherd/Collie mix (just a guess)!dog friendly & best as second dog in homewould love a more chill home/she’s a shy galfully vetted  Fostered locally in Massachusetts - APPLY TODAY to meet her!!! *Please note: We're an all-volunteer organization, and incomplete applications cannot be processed.* If you're interested in adopting a GBP rescue PAL, please submit an application through the link below. Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting! We look forward to helping you adopt your next companion animal. All dogs and cats are fostered in volunteer homes with working families, kids and teenagers, other dogs and sometimes cats too. When your application is approved, we put you in touch with the foster for FaceTime so you can see your puppy in real time and ask questions. It's a process that's worked for hundreds of dogs over the past fifteen years. A fence is not required to adopt a puppy. Kona was found stray in rural Alabama with his sister. We have no history on them. We are guessing that he could be a Border Collie, smooth collie, Australian Shepard mix. Based on our experience, he could grow to 60 pounds. Kona lives in an active Foster Home with a working couple, other puppies, adult dogs, and cats. She's good with everyone! He is crate training and doing fantastic on house training. Transport for Kona would be mid May. Apply now because this Beauty will not last long. He would be good in a home with children. We would put you in touch with the Foster family. All dogs and cats are fully vetted prior to adoption. Spayed/neutered, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, dewormed, parasite prevention. Any medical issue that was treated is fully disclosed. All dogs come with medical records. There is lots of room to write on the application. Please tell us about yourself, and your pets, current or previous. Transportation is included in the total adoption fee. We have to pay for every animal that we send North on Transport. We do not own the van or the service. $345 adoption $175 transport $65 health certificate from Vet. _______ Total for a healthy vetted pet. $585 Serious adopters should fill out the application online and we'll be in touch in a day or two. We prefer a vet reference, current or previous, to adopt a puppy. Copy and paste the link into your browser. https://form.jotform.com/212574701956157 Thank you!

Confident and social, she absolutely loves a good wrestling session with other dogs. Pixel strikes a wonderful balance between independence and affection: she’s happy to keep herself entertained, but will always circle back for cuddles.Pixel is friendly with every dog she meets, though her enthusiasm may be a bit much for dogs who don’t enjoy active play. She hasn’t been tested with children or cats yet, but given her sweet demeanor, she’d likely do well in a home with older children and dog savvy cats.Pixel is a smart girl and is eager to please. She is mostly housetrained and does best when kept on a consistent schedule. She is working on her crate training and can be vocal before settling in. With time, consistency and routine she will quickly master it. She enjoys bursts of active play followed by periods of relaxation and independent entertainment. With continued structure and consistency, Pixel is learning how to channel her energy in positive and rewarding ways.If you’re looking for a bundle of joy wrapped in fur, look no further. Pixel will bring laughter, affection, and an insatiable zest for life into your home! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. She is a medium energy gal who loves zooming around the backyard with her foster siblings and carrying a small stuffy around in her mouth. She would thrive in a calm, quiet home that will give her the time and space to get comfortable on her own terms. After a little decompression time, Cindy had no issues with any of the resident dogs in her foster home and would do well with a canine sibling. She has shown zero interest in the cats and would do just fine with a feline sibling. She has been great with kids but does best with dog-savvy kids who understand that she needs a calm, gentle approach to feel at ease.Cindy is a smart girl with a sweet soul who is learning to build confidence every day. She is fully crate trained and does great overnight and throughout the day. She is mostly house trained and does best when taken outside immediately after leaving her kennel, and will continue to improve with a consistent routine. Cindy is working on her leash skills and is still building confidence with a leash on. This sweet girl has so much love to give. Story
Coda is a beautiful, intelligent Blue Heeler with a lot of love to give, but she needs the right environment to truly thrive. She would do best in a home without other animals or children, as she values her personal space and can become overwhelmed in busy or unpredictable settings.Coda is very well trained and thrives with structure. She is fully house, leash, and crate-trained. She sleeps comfortably in her crate at night and when left home alone.Making the decision to rehome Coda has been incredibly difficult. I am currently five months pregnant, and I worry about her being around a young child who may not understand boundaries or personal space. My priority is finding her a safe, calm, and loving home where she can continue to grow and feel secure.Once Coda warms up, she is a love bug and incredibly loyal. She needs someone who will be patient with her. Due to her prior abuse, I was told it would be best to put her down rather than place in a shelter. Please help us find her a home
