Story
Rusty is an adorable 8-month-old pup with lots of energy and personality! He’s in his teenage phase and loves to play, explore, and be part of whatever you’re doing.Rusty will need continued training to help him grow into a well-mannered adult dog. He’s looking for a patient, committed family who can provide structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement as he continues to learn.Rusty does not do well with cats and will need a cat-free home. He would also do best in a home without young children. With guidance, exercise, and love, Rusty has so much potential to become a loyal and fun companion. If you’re ready to help a young pup learn and grow, Rusty is ready to meet you! ??

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Aries! Aries is approximately 10 months old and 35 lbs currently and she is a Mutt! She was hit by a car and had to have her leg amputated in the fall. She is now recovered and ready for her forever home! In her foster home, she is doing great with her house training, but still needs work with crate training and leash walking. She could join households with dog-savvy kids 10+, and other dogs. She has not been exposed to cats. She would prefer a home with other playful dogs. Her foster says, `Aries is very playful and loves attention. She loves loves loves other dogs and always wants to play and wrestle. She can run just as fast with 3 legs as many dogs with 4! She can go up and down steps and has even learned to use a doggy door. She is still scared of men but never aggressive. Just barks then runs away from men. Her bark is pretty loud but only barks when a man comes into the house or ALL the dogs are barking. She has lived with 6 dogs here and loved playing with all of them. She has plenty of energy but also loves a good nap. She will be great for an active family with kids. Being a puppy-the only thing she has chewed on besides toys are my socks. Has not touched my shoes or furniture. This girl will make someone very happy.`She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth in March. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
