Meet Marlee!
Marlee is a gorgeous Rough Coat Collie born on 11/25/22 and weighing 52 lbs. Marlee was purchased as a puppy from an Amish breeder and is now looking for a new home due to circumstances beyond her control. Her family recently moved to a home without a physical fenced yard and has been unable to safely contain her - this active, intelligent girl simply needs more secure space to thrive.
Marlee is a sweet, social, and happy dog who truly enjoys life and the people around her. She has lived with young children, but as a herding breed her instincts naturally kick in, so we recommend a home with older, dog-savvy children who can respect her boundaries and energy.
She has also lived with cats, but Marlee does have a taste for chicken, so she should not be allowed access to free-range poultry or other fowl. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would love a canine friend to play with.
Because of her energy level and curiosity, Marlee must have a physical fenced yard. An invisible fence did not phase her, and she is far too active for a tether system. She enjoys being on the move and needs a safe, secure area to run and explore.
Marlee has a solid understanding of house manners, is crate trained, and loves to meet new faces. She also enjoys car rides and is always up for the next adventure. As a Rough Coat Collie, she will require regular grooming to keep her beautiful coat tangle-free and looking its best.
Marlee is a happy, healthy girl with so much love to give. She’s searching for a committed family who can meet her needs, appreciate her breed traits, and give her the furever home she deserves.

OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE.
