Marley is a sensitive herding-breed dog who is looking for a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and build confidence. He has a history of fear and anxiety. Marley is not a good fit for homes with children under 5, and any children under 17 must meet him prior to adoption. Marley must meet any resident dogs and may prefer to be the only dog in the home. He has no known history with cats, so careful introductions would be needed. Marley will do best with an experienced and understanding adopter who can provide exercise, structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement. In the right environment, he has the potential to be a loyal and rewarding companion.
