Freya is a fantastic 1 year old blue heeler. I got her when she was 2 months old but soon after became pregnant with my first child and my partner and I simply do not have the time or energy to give her the exercise and enrichment she needs. She is extremely smart, but also stubborn and needs lots of exercise and enrichment which is why she needs an experienced owner. She currently lives with my saint bernard and two cats. However, she has snapped at dogs she is not familiar with so I believe she will need time to adjust to a new dog and cats she is okay with but will most likely need an adjustment period with them as well. She really is a great dog, we just cannot give her what she needs at the moment.

Huckleberry waborn on June 27, 2021 to our two heelers. He has grown up with us--around my 5 kids and our 2 other dogs. He is an EXCELLENT fetching dog. LOVES chasing a stick or ball. Also loves hiking. He is a typical red heeler with some anxiety and jumpiness, so physical activity a must. He is 57 lbs and a tall heeler,very fit. Neutered. UTD vaccines, inc. rabies. He does not like being around his dad Boone. We cannot rehome Boone due to his health issues. Huck has only ever been aggressive to Boone, and is fine around his humans, his mama Oakley and our male 5-year-old doodle. He has NEVER shown aggression toward any human inside or outside of our home. He has not been around cats. Huck is currently staying in the back yard, but weather is getting colder. It is a pretty desperate situation, because I do NOT want to place him in a shelter. Please message or call for more info on Huck. His adoption is time-sens. Experienced heeler owner only. Tavi came to us after the sudden passing of a family member. She’s a very sweet, loving, and energetic dog that wants nothing more than to be by your side. She’s extremely smart and eager to please. She’s great with cats, kids, and small dogs. She hasn’t had much exposure to larger breed dogs, so she tends to be more hesitant around them. Unfortunately we just don’t have the time to give her the attention and care she deserves. She’d make a great companion in any active family household. She’s good in car rides and loves to adventure and explore.

River is approximately two years old, approximately 40lbs and was originally adopted from Animal Friends July 2025. He is a very sweet dog, good with other dogs and children. He likes car rides, walks, and needs a fenced-in yard. He will try to escape through the front door, but will come to you if opening the car door. He also likes to take things off of counters and will steal your food, so things have to be put away until he grows out of this phase (common with puppies/young dogs). Both dogs have been able to get rather well until just recently. We have to re-home because our other dog is very possessive, and gets very jealous if River gets near me, and will start the fight. I was bitten by my other dog when trying to break them up, but River is not the aggressor. I am extremely saddened for having to surrender River, but I fear that my other dog will hurt him, and we've had to separate them on numerous occasions. River will make a great companion for someone.

Meet Bright! The first time you see him you will be captivated by his smile! He is the happiest dog you will ever meet & OMG he is so smart! If you’re holding a treat he will sit, come & even stand up & beg!! Bright is the size of a Kelpie with German shepherd coloring & fur! We can’t afford to DNA test so we’re going to guess that he’s a super mutt! He is around 1.5 year old & 46 lbs! He has a very shepherd personality who’s been through professional behavior training so he’s an incredibly talented guy but still has a goofball side. Bright may be well trained but personality os personality and he’s not compatible with young children or small animals. We do require participation in learning his training skills to make sure he’s the right fit forever. Bright is smart, sassy & bouncy! He loves toys & will do anything for a treat.
