Luna is a 9 year old Border Collie who loves to be goofy and play as much as she likes treats. She can be very vocal at times and will tell you what she wants. She is very smart, learns tricks very easily, but also can be very stubborn and refuses things. Her favorite toy is her squeaky pig and squeaky basketball and she will even hit the basketball back to you if you toss it to her! Luna loves to play with toys and she can be very goofy. She can play hide and seek as well as weave between your legs. If you stand with your legs apart, she also likes to stand between them so you can sway her back and forth! Unfortunately, Luna has a lot of behavioral issues that I am not equipped to handle and needs a place that has the experience and patience to home her forever. She is very protective, which makes her aggressive, and she is not fully house-trained. She has a lot of energy and needs a place where she can run, play, and be happy. PLEASE help quickly if you can as I have no other options

Space is a 9 month old medium size dog. She loves other dogs and has done well with cats. Space needs a special adopter that will give her time to realize people aren’t so scary. She has made a TON of progress at her foster home but is still very timid at times. She gets SO excited to see you after work but still only wants to be pet on her own terms. She will do best in a home with no children, another dog to help build her confidence, and her own yard, as she is not leash trained. She is very fearful of the leash, leading us to believe she may have had a traumatic experience involving a leash before coming to HART. This dog absolutely loves to be comfy. All she wants is a comfortable bed or to curl up by your feet on the couch. If you’re looking for a playmate for your dog that does not beg for constant attention or a friend to keep your dog busy while you’re at work, Space could be a great choice for you. Meet Bernice! She’s only about 50lbs and 1.5-2 years old. Shes fabulous with other dogs and good with kids. Bernice loves to zoomie, she’s generally gentle and walks well on a leash. She’s potty trained and has good house manners. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. He has a very shepherd personality who’s been through professional behavior training so he’s an incredibly talented guy but still has a goofball side. Bright may be well trained but personality is personality and he’s NOT compatible with young children or small animals. We do require participation in learning his training skills to make sure he’s the right fit forever. Bright is smart, bunch and SASSY! He loves toys & will do anything for a treat but would do best with an experienced dog owner. Bright is good in a crate, loves the car & would love to be the center of your world!
