Story
Hi, I’m Aspen! I came to the shelter from a large hoarding case, so the world was a pretty scary place at first. Thanks to my amazing foster family, I’m learning that people can be kind and that life can be a lot of fun! Once I trust you, I’m a loving, playful, goofy girl who loves playing with other dogs, tossing around my favorite stuffed toys (especially if I can remove the stuffing!), and zooming around the yard. I’m still building confidence with new people, especially men, so I’m looking for a patient family that will let me move at my own pace and celebrate all my little victories. I’m making great progress with leash walking and house training, and having another friendly dog to show me the ropes would be a huge bonus. If you have a little patience and a lot of love, I promise I'll reward you with endless affection, silly puppy antics, and the joy of watching me continue to blossom into the wonderful dog I was always meant to be. 3159 Susquehanna Trail N York PA 17406 Kennel #3537

Story
Hi, I’m Lacey! My story started in a large hoarding case where I arrived at the shelter caring for 11 puppies, including several that weren't even my own. After helping raise every one of them into happy, healthy pups, it's finally my turn to find a family of my own. While my puppies have all found homes, I'm still waiting for mine. I can be shy when meeting new people because so much of the world is still new to me, but underneath that cautious exterior is the sweetest, goofiest girl you'll ever meet. I love spending time outside, carrying my favorite toys around the yard, following my favorite people from room to room, and curling up in my cozy crate after a fun day. Other confident dogs bring out the very best in me, so I'm looking for a home that has another dog who would be playful and show me the ropes. I'm incredibly smart, curious, potty trained, crate trained, and learning more every day. My perfect home will be patient, gentle, and willing to let me build trust at my own pace. Watching me come out of my shell is something truly special, and I promise that once you earn my trust, you'll have a loyal, silly, loving best friend for life. 3159 Susquehanna Trail N York PA 17406 Kennel #3537

Story
Hi, I’m Windsor. I came to the shelter from a large hoarding case, and while many of my friends have started coming out of their shells, I'm still trying to figure this whole world out. The shelter has been a hard place for me, and even after spending time here, I'm still very shut down. I’m not aggressive—I’m just scared. When I go outside, my favorite place is quietly sitting on a bench where I can watch the world go by. I enjoy gentle pets once I feel safe, and I’ll even relax enough to lay down while someone calmly sits with me. I’ve met some of the dogs I lived with before coming to the shelter, and while I coexist peacefully with them, I’m still too overwhelmed to really engage. What I need more than anything is a calm, patient home that understands healing can't be rushed. My adopter will need to celebrate the smallest victories and let me build confidence at my own pace. A quiet home, a predictable routine, and someone willing to love me exactly where I am today will give me the best chance to finally become the dog I was always meant to be. My journey may take longer than most, but I promise I'll be worth the wait. 3159 Susquehanna Trail N York PA 17406 Kennel #:3537

Story
Life has been a bit of a whirlwind for this handsome pup. Tilt-a-Whirl came to us from a hoarding situation, and like many of his siblings, he's learning more about the world every day. He'll need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time, but watching him grow more confident each day is incredibly rewarding. Tilt-a-Whirl is learning how to walk on a leash and is making steady progress. Little by little, he's showing us his sweet personality. He enjoys affection once he feels comfortable, but he's also happy to explore and do his own thing. While he can still be a little nervous at times, he's coming out of his shell more every day and continues to surprise us with his resilience. If you have a calm home, a kind heart, and the patience to let a shy dog blossom at his own pace, Tilt-a-Whirl just might be the perfect addition to your family. 3159 Susquehanna Trail N York PA 17406 Kennel #3537

Story
Hi, I’m Foxy! I was one of the very first moms rescued from a large hoarding case, and after raising my puppies and watching them find families of their own, I'm finally ready for my happily ever after. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, and I like to take my time deciding who I trust. But once you earn my heart, you'll have a loyal companion who loves curling up beside you, carrying around soft plush toys, and joining you for long walks and adventures. I get along well with other animals and have really blossomed in foster care, proving that with patience and kindness, I can overcome my fears. My ideal family will understand that trust can't be rushed, but they'll be rewarded with an unbreakable bond. If you're willing to let me move at my own pace, I know I'll become the sweetest, goofiest best friend you've ever had. 3159 Susquehanna Trail N York PA 17406 Kennel #3537

Story
Hi, I’m Tonto! I came to the shelter from a large hoarding case, and since then I’ve discovered just how wonderful life can be! I’m a loving, affectionate, and goofy guy who’s always ready for an adventure or a cuddle. I love playing with my dog friends, going for long walks, riding in the car, and even making special trips to places like the pet store or Rita’s. I’ve blossomed in foster care and have become a happy, social boy who enjoys meeting new people and spending time with his family. I’d love a home with another playful dog to help keep me company, plenty of daily exercise, and a family that will continue helping me learn with positive reinforcement. Cats just aren’t really my thing, so I’m looking for a cat-free home. If you’re looking for a fun-loving best friend who’s ready to make up for lost time and fill your days with laughter, love, and adventures, I can’t wait to meet you! 3159 Susquehanna Trail N York PA 17406 Kennel #3537
