Story
The Tennessee 5 2 months old Collie / Poodle / Terrier This litter of 5 medium-sized mixed breed pups recently joined us all the way from Tennessee. Their parents were spotted in the streets, but supposedly took off before they could be caught. The above breeds are based off of what we were told the parents looked like. These pups are very social, sweet, cuddly, and playful... everything you hope to find in a puppy. They should do well in any home that has the time and patience for training a young puppy. Each will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, have 2 parvo/distemper vaccines, bordatella vaccine, and be UTD on monthly preventatives. They will be available beginning March 26th. We do not allow holds and the entire family must be present for the adoption. Please send us a detailed application from www.puppiesareworthsaving.com then answer our follow up email which will come within 13 hours. Do NOT apply unless you are serious and dedicated to adopting. Foster location: Forest Hill, MD

Story
Oh Tina. I adopted Tina from a farmer who had her living in a small cage for the first three years of her life. I've had her for about 9 months. Tina is a sweet dog with energy to expend. She loves attention and petting, and she is always excited for walks. Because of her first three years in a cage, she grew up peeing and pooping where she stood. She has shown great improvement over the last several months, but I work long days and she will resort to going to the bathroom indoors if she doesn't have someone around to let her out. I don't have the heart to put her in a crate while I work, and she has learned that using a pee pad is better than not, but she also found some comfortable spots around furniture to go that has resulted in permanent damage to my wood floors. She would be a perfect companion for someone who can spend more time with her. I love her, but she needs more attention than I can give her. As a heeler, she has a habit of play biting with me and other dogs

Story
Hiya, I'm Link! A young boy like me is always ready for adventure, however I am looking for a partner that can take me through the serious training that I'll need in order to be adventure ready. As I was a stray, I can be a bit nervous with new people and I will let you know it. I'm not a fan of sharing my items and I'm picky with my dog friends too, although I may be good with the right one. I enjoy chin scratches and resting with my friends, but I don't enjoy cuddles. I'm looking for a home where all household residents are over 15, as I'm really looking for a family that is dedicated to making sure I succeed in my adventures. If you're interested in devoting time to have the best partner around, please stop by the shelter to meet me. ---This animal is available by appointment only. Please reach out to schedule a visit with one of his handlers!---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Not good with kids,
Story
Hello, I'm Magdalene and boy, do I have a story I could tell...if I could talk.I was caught and brought into the shelter as a stray after running free for TWO months! Two whole months, I was living on my own. Now, I'm a quiet shelter wondering what's next. Since I came in as a stray, the staff doesn't know too much about me. I'm nervous and scared right now so making new friends is slow going, but once I do, I am sweet and even seem to like belly rubs - but you have to earn my trust to see this belly. I'm not sure how I feel about other dogs yet, so a visit would be necessary. As for cats, those are an unknown too. My breed typically isn't a cat friendly breed, but we're all different, I may do OK with a proper introduction. Because so much about me is unknown and I'm still figuring things out, I need an experienced adult only family whose had cattle dogs before and knows what my breed needs. If you think that's you, reach out to my friends here at the shelter to see if we'd be a match!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm. This dog is available by APPOINTMENT ONLY.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org
