She is a social butterfly who loves making new friends and has a playful, "helpful" habit of rearranging shoes and her toys around the house. With her boundless enthusiasm, she is also an expert at deconstructing her toys with joy. She’s looking for an active home that can keep up with her fun-loving personality! She loves interactive play and gets so much joy out of her toys that she simply loves them to pieces. Goldie currently lives with two cats and gets along with them well.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs. Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families. We have many sponsorship dogs. Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :) So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue. Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding. Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Koda and Niko have been together their whole lives and we are not going to separate them. :) Niko LOVES to give kisses and Koda likes to lay on the couch and get tons of cuddles! Niko is a shepherd mix and he is 7. Koda is a border collie mix and he is 10. They both love to play in the field and roll around so a fenced yard would be ideal. Nibs and his brother Curly were born in a shelter when their pregnant mother was picked up as a stray in Frazier, TN. Nibs is now being fostered in the south and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Nibs is very friendly with everyone he meets. Nibs is great with both dogs and cats. Nibs has enjoyed all the people he has met, including children. Nibs loves to play in the water and run zoomies in the yard. Nibs is working on house training; as a pup, he will need some patience while he continues to work on the process. Nibs is crate trained and learning how to walk on a leash. Meet Rascal: Rascal is a 4 year old Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix that weighs around 41 pounds. Rascal was rescued from a high kill shelter a day before she was to be euthanized. Rascal loves attention and is very sweet. Rascal can be dog selective but has no reaction to cats. We recommend older children because Rascal is energetic and sometimes jumps on you. Overall Rascal is a nice girl...just needs some work and stability. Rascal is house and crate trained but needs some work on her leash walking.
