Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families. We have many sponsorship dogs. Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :) So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue. Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding. Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Addie is a sweet Collie mix with a heart of gold! This quiet, easygoing girl is well-behaved, crate- and house-trained, and great with kids. She loves meeting new people, is excellent on a leash, and always impresses everyone with her calm, friendly demeanor. Addie would thrive in a home with another dog to be her fur friend and a securely fenced yard where she can safely play and explore. She’s truly a plug-and-play dog ready to find her forever family and share a lifetime of love and adventures. Koda and Niko have been together their whole lives and we are not going to separate them. :) Niko LOVES to give kisses and Koda likes to lay on the couch and get tons of cuddles! Niko is a shepherd mix and he is 7. Koda is a border collie mix and he is 10. They both love to play in the field and roll around so a fenced yard would be ideal. Meet Chunk: Chunk is about a 14 month old (as of July 2026) border collie / lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 60 pounds. Chunk was born in a shelter on May 1, 2025. His mommy and siblings had all been adopted and found their homes and he was left behind. For one year he lived in the shelter not knowing any other life. Chunk went to many adoption events where everyone loved him but no commitments were made. Due to shelter stay length without interest, he found his name on the euthanasia list! The shelter director reached out to our rescue to see if we could help this sweet guy out. We are thankful we had a spot for him and can give him the chance at the life he deserves! Chunk is now being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Chunk is a total sweetheart! He is great with all people, including children. Chunk loves attention, playing with his toys, and having snacks! Chunk could spend his days rolling in the grass and hanging out with friends and be the happiest guy around! Chunk is great with other dogs and has done well with cats, too! Chunk is house trained and crate trained and walks well on a leash. We would love for Chunk to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can roam, run, roll and play freely until his hearts content. Meet Rascal: Rascal is a 4 year old Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix that weighs around 41 pounds. Rascal was rescued from a high kill shelter a day before she was to be euthanized. Rascal loves attention and is very sweet. Rascal can be dog selective but has no reaction to cats. We recommend older children because Rascal is energetic and sometimes jumps on you. Overall Rascal is a nice girl...just needs some work and stability. Rascal is house and crate trained but needs some work on her leash walking.
