Story
Meet Gene – your playful, cuddly Collie girl 🐾 Gene is a sweet and lovable rough-coated Collie, about 1.5–2 years old and around 48 pounds. She’s a happy, social pup who absolutely loves to play and gets along wonderfully with other dogs—both male and female. She’s currently being fostered with a senior male Yorkie who she happily cuddles with and shares space and toys beautifully. What we love about Gene: ✔️ House trained ✔️ Does a great job signaling when she needs to go outside ✔️ Dog-friendly and very social ✔️ Sweet, affectionate, and loves being with her people Gene would do best in a home with a fenced yard and would truly thrive with another playful dog to run and romp with. She has a fun, energetic personality and needs a family who can give her the daily exercise and attention she needs to be her best self. She is not destructive and does not chew inappropriate items but she does like to stay busy with bones and other toys! As a typical herding breed, Gene does have some light herding behavior. Gene is ready for an active home that will enjoy her playful spirit and give her the life she deserves. 💛 📍 Gene is being fostered in Lancaster, PA and potential adopters would be required to travel to meet her. Kennel license # 9117 Po box 2372 Reading pa 19608

Story
Meet Bear.  Bear and his siblings were part of an unwanted litter living beneath the front porch of a rural Tennessee home. Concerned neighbors noticed the puppies were not confined and that no one was caring for them. Fearing for their safety, especially after learning they were not being fed regularly, a neighbor intervened and rescued the puppies just before snow and ice swept through Middle Tennessee.   The puppies are now healthy, happy, and ready for their forever families to find them. Bear is a wonderful guy.  He is the biggest puppy in the litter and a true gentle giant.  Bear is a mix of Collie, Australian Cattle Dog and Blue Heeler.  He is 13 weeks old and just a love bug.  Bear will follow  you around until you pick him up and give him a big kiss.  After that he is happy to join his siblings in a game of ball or tug of war.  He really enjoys playing with his brothers and sister as well as the other dogs in his foster home.  This big boy even sleeps with the resident cats. Bear is working on potty training and has it almost mastered.  He just needs to remember why he went outside. He  is sometimes to busy wondering where you are to get 'things' done.  Bear is crate-trained and spends time in an inside pen when no one is home to watch him.   Bear is neutered, up to date on all his vaccinations, and microchipped.  To be considered for his forever family and to request an application, please get in touch with Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Bear is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)    February 3, 2026, 5:45 pm

Story
Einstein is a 12 week old neutered male maremma sheepdog/collie mix who weighs about 25 pounds. This litter was part of an accident litter and their owner wanted help finding the best homes for them. They are wonderful, well socialized puppies who are going to make wonderful pets. These adorable, larger-breed fluffy puppies are ready to find their forever homes! With their soft coats, big paws, and even bigger personalities, these pups are going to grow into beautiful, loyal companions. They are playful, curious, love people and have tested well with other dogs. Typical of fluffy, larger-breed mixes, they enjoy romping around with their siblings, soaking up attention, and then crashing for a good nap. These puppies will thrive in homes that can provide love, structure, training, and room to grow. Story
Meet Arlo 🐾 Arlo is a 1.5-year-old mix (there is definitely some border collie in there!) with a big personality, a happy heart, and energy for days! Smart, affectionate, and eager to please, Arlo loves learning new things and being your right-hand (or paw) man. If you enjoy an active lifestyle, Arlo is ready to be your adventure buddy. He is fully potty trained, up to date on all vaccinations, and already neutered, so he’s all set and ready for his forever home. Arlo has lots of energy and lives for a good full-speed run. Arlos perfect furever home does have a fenced in yard with enough space so he can zoom, explore, and then happily race back to you with a big grin. He will need an active family who is willing to commit to making sure he gets regular exercise! He is working on his leash walking skills and is getting there! Like many young, playful dogs, Arlo is still learning about appropriate playtime antics and will need a strong leader who is willing and ready to work with him in harnessing his excitement! With his intelligence and desire to please, basic obedience training would be a great way to help him shine even brighter. Arlo isn’t much of a barker. He won’t react to doorbells or knocking, but he will adorably let you know when he wants playtime, more water, or a potty break. One of his funniest quirks? Water! Arlo loves it so much he’ll try to sneak into the shower while it’s running—just in case it turns into a pool party. 🚿🐶 Arlo is currently being fostered in Wernersville and would need to meet potential adopters to make sure it’s a great match for everyone. Alro wouldn't mind having a canine playmate to romp around with in the yard, or could be a one and only dog in the right family. He is currently being fostered with yonger children and doesn't mind them as long as they are ready to play too! If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, fun-loving companion who’s ready to run, learn, and love hard—Arlo just might be your guy. 💙 Zoe's House Rescue Kennel license 9117 Reading PA 19608
