The first thing you notice about Littleman? Just how handsome he is! Littleman has no ego about it though-he's content to be part of the pack in his foster home and would never be a snob about his gorgeous coat and his beautiful face. The second thing? Littleman doesn't walk! Why not, you may ask. Well, it seems that his brain didn't fully develop, so the mechanics of walking never made those connections. Is he happy? Absolutely! He can flip himself over, observe the goings on of his foster home and wiggle himself into the best sun spots in the yard. Is he in pain? Absolutely not! Bathroom breaks are a little different-Littleman can go on his own but he doesn't always ask to go outside. So it does take a little clean up in his space. He sure doesn't need walks! Littleman can be a wary of new people and handling since they need to learn his routine. You may be surprised just how easy it is to care for him! Now he's patiently waiting for his lovely chocolate coat to grow back over his battle scars. 🩺🤎 Named after the delicious rice cake, Mochi is built just like his namesake—squishy, 100% soft, warm and sweet! 🧸 At 1 year and 2 months old, this handsome mixed-breed boy has a sweet, friendly personality that will brighten up your day. He’s made a great impression with the volunteers—even when he was wearing the "cone of shame". Mochi appears to be potty trained and seems to enjoy the company of other dogs. Last Saturday, he joined a group hike with several other shelter pups and had a blast, showing off his polite manners! His volunteer driver reported that he was a 10/10 excellent passenger in the car. 🌲🚗 Mochi charms everyone who spends time with him but now he’s ready to find a forever loving home. We adopted Bear from the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter, a little over a year ago. He is estimated to be just over 2 years old. I am relocating and cannot offer him the space he deserves. He would likely do best in a house with a yard. Bear is such a sweet and loving dog, his favorite thing is belly scratches and chewing on a bone. He loves being outside, running “perimeter checks” by sniffing. He also loves to play with other dogs, and is very sweet to cats. He hardly barks, only if you’re playing with him and get him riled up. Sweet potato is his favorite human food, pup cups being a close second. He is truly such a loveable and goofy dog! All of his stuff goes with him, kennel, bed, toys, food.I’m trying my best to keep him out of the shelters, so if he interests you, please reach out!
