Story
We rescued Zara when she was 8 weeks old when we saw a post on Facebook and the owner was looking to euthanize her as he couldn’t find a home - we couldn’t let that happen. She has been so loving from that first moment we met her and immediately lit up our lives with her energy and playfulness. Fast-forward nearly 2 years and she is a big part of our hearts and home, which is what makes this so difficult. We recently had our first child, and it’s been really tough for her to adapt. She is used to, and needs a lot of attention and routine and we just can’t give that to her with a newborn. She deserves that focus from her owner and we don’t know when we will be able to be that for her again. We are hoping to find someone that will love her like we do, that can give her the attention, daily structure and activity that she needs. She is nearly 2 years old and she is a beautiful girl, a true, loyal protector, and currently shares a home with a younger pup.

Story
Lil Sebastian is a gentle, sensitive soul looking for someone who will give him the time and patience he needs to feel safe. New people, unfamiliar sounds, and new places can be scary for him, so he thrives in a calm, quiet home with a predictable routine. His crate, covered with a blanket, is his safe haven, and having a securely fenced yard is important since walks are still overwhelming for him. Once Lil Seb learns he can trust you, his sweet personality shines. He becomes a cuddly, affectionate companion who loves to be close to his people. He’s house-trained, though he may have a few accidents at first as he adjusts to a new home and learns his surroundings. With patience and consistency, he settles in beautifully. He knows “sit,” is eager to learn more, and is especially motivated by cheese, turkey tendons, and his favorite crinkle toys. His daily routine helps him feel his best and includes pumpkin with his meals, fish oil at breakfast, calming chews twice a day, and his anxiety medication tucked inside a piece of cheese each morning. He does great when left home alone and doesn’t struggle with separation anxiety. More than anything, Lil Sebastian is looking for someone willing to let him move at his own pace. Give him a little time, and you’ll earn the love of one incredibly loyal, gentle best friend.

Meet Ginger — the perfect mix of outgoing charm and calm companionship. 🧡 Ginger has a friendly, social personality and enjoys being part of the action, but she carries herself with a lovely calmness that makes her such an easy dog to be around. She’s happy to say hello, join you for an adventure, or simply relax by your side. She’s a wonderful leash walker and makes strolls enjoyable and stress-free. She loves to snuggle up close and soak in all the affection she can get, happily returning it with warmth and sweetness. Story
Willow is a 7 month old red heeler mix. She has lived in a foster home since she was 10 weeks old. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. She is house trained and knows all the standard commands. Willow goes on a 3 mile walk every morning. The rest of the day is a combination of resting or playing. She requires a fenced in backyard. She is happy, friendly, well socialized with people and dogs. The cats find her enthusiasm annoying but she listens when told to leave them alone. She will require regular daily exercise and someone around during the week. If you're retired or work from home, she would be a great companion for you. She's a sweetheart! Willow is active, fun and looking for a family who has the time and commitment to teach her to be a good puppy by engaging her smart little brain by giving her puppy lessons. She requires a home with a privacy fence, no pool. If there are children--over 5 years old as this breed likes to herd. Willow's adoption fee of $350.00 includes her Vet exam, age appropriate vaccinations, 4DX for heart worms and tick diseases, fecal test, wormer, preventative, Bravecto, spay and microchip.

Story
We will consider out-of-town adoptions on a case-by-case basis. SWEET DAISY HAS SKILLS!! This happy and confident heeler mix is such a pretty girl, pretty as a flower. She is playful and does well with most dogs but do best with dogs her size or larger. A privacy fenced yard would be great. An active family will be better. Daisy has waited a long time to be adopted to a private home. Somehow she never got a break. Poor lady. Although our ranchette is small and comfortable with other dogs roaming around, she yearns to be a part of your family and live in a private home. Recently, our rescue boarded her in Bobbi Colorado's Training camp for a whole month to teach her new skills that will make her more adoptable. We all know these kind of training does not come cheap. Now, she has impeccable manners and hoping that your family will see how far she has come and is so ready to be a part of your home. Daisy’s adoption fee of $250.00 includes her vet exam, basic vaccinations, fecal test, wormer, heart worm test, preventative, spay and microchip.

Story
When gorgeous Mookie looks into your eyes, it feels like he can see right into your soul. Those big, beautiful eyes show you just how much love this amazing dude is capable of. He loves to make his human happy and he loves to perform. Mookie is very smart and is a great listener, especially if treats are involved! (Same, Mook, same.) He loves to get head scratches and will sit next to you watching the sun rise and just enjoying the silence. Mookie's foster family has socialized him very well, and he loves being around dogs. He does prefer to be top dog and will assert his dominance as best he can by trying to lead the pack (with zero aggression toward other dogs or around food or water). He is a super intelligent boy, is treat-motivated, and is learning commands like "Leave it" and "Here" (though ignoring those pesky neighborhood squirrels on walks is still a challenge). He is doing very well with potty training, with just the occasional accident. He is also crate trained and knows that's where he relaxes and sleeps. He loves to take a bone in there, just in case he's done with naptime before his people are. During the day, he will bark to signal that he needs a potty break or to stretch his legs. Mookie's ideal family would take him on lots of adventures. He loves hikes and car rides, and is his best self when he gets a lot of exercise. He would thrive in a house with a yard and with other dog friend(s) to play chase with and cuddle. Mookie does well with children but needs a home without cats. If you're looking for a gorgeous, goofy boy right out of a storybook, Mookie is your man! <3 **Adoptable in the greater Austin, Texas, area only.**
