Tassa was born on March 14th from a litter of four puppies. She has lived on a small farm where goats, lamb and sheep are raised. She spends very little time indoors, as she enjoys playing and exploring the farm with her canine siblings and parents. She has a good demeanor, and will comply with basic single-word commands. Tassa's canine parents are both about 30 months old. Canine dad weighs about 85 pounds, while canine mom weighs about 45 pounds.

He is very friendly towards both people and other dogs, and he has many doggy friends at the shelter. His impeccable leash manners and love for outdoor adventures make him a delightful companion for walks and explorations, his boundless energy and playful spirit shining through as he eagerly explores the world around him! Sweet Gregory can be a bit timid and shy at times, making him best suited to live with adults and older children. He also loves his people so deeply that he struggles when left alone, something he can overcome with patience and understanding from his adopters. We think Gregory will thrive in a low-traffic home with a loving family, and perhaps a canine sibling to play with! Meet Indiana (Indy), a most handsome blend of Shepherd and Border Collie! True to his heritage, Indy is highly intelligent and very athletic. He relishes physical activity such as romping in the play yards and hiking the trails with his favorite volunteers. His happy energy is boundless; he is a perfect workout buddy for someone who loves to run and exercise outdoors! Indy has previously thrived in foster homes, where he lived harmoniously with children, livestock, and several other dogs. Here are some glowing notes his foster family shared with us: "Indiana is such a sweet and affectionate boy! The way he belly crawls into our laps and gives full-body hugs just melts our hearts. Indy is extremely smart and easy to teach, and has already mastered basic commands like "come and "sit. He is potty-trained, sleeps quietly all night in his kennel, and he has lovely house manners. This handsome boy plays so nicely with other dogs, he and his PAWS foster brother (Theo) have so much fun together! Indy just adores people, he is instant friends with adults and kids alike. He behaved beautifully at his first off-site event, where he met dozens of people including Santa! A cool thing about Indy is that even though he is part Border Collie, he has no desire whatsoever to herd or chase our livestock. You can see in the photos he wanders peacefully around our horses like they aren't even there. He would do great as a family pet or a farm dog, he is such a good boy! We think Indiana is a perfect match for an active household that enjoys exercise and adventures. His intelligence and athleticism also make him a great candidate for agility course training, he certainly has the heart of a champion!

Meet Orion, the handsome Aussie Heeler mix with an enthusiastic love for life! Orion adores people and loves spending time with staff members and volunteers. Whether it be a leisurely stroll on the trails or a rousing game of fetch in the play yards, this loveable pup is happiest when he's with his humans. While he enjoys playtime, Orion is a true couch potato at heart and he revels in the simple pleasures of lounging indoors on a soft bed. He recently enjoyed a shelter break with one of our amazing volunteers, who shared these wonderful notes with us: "Orion is such a smart boy! He spent the first hour exploring the yard, and chasing balls around with the most adorable zoomies. After that he was perfectly content to snuggle on the bed with a pile of blankets and stuffie toys. Orion has exceptional house manners and he is 100% potty trained! He also knows some simple commands such as "come" and "sit." He is an absolute joy of a house guest, and he is so much fun to hang out with!" Orion gets along well with other nice-natured dogs who share his easygoing demeanor, and he has made a few doggie friends at the shelter. This sweet boy will be a wonderful addition to a family looking for a loyal and gentle companion!
