Story
These two 10-year-old best friends are the definition of connection. Always side by side, they mirror each other in every way—moving together, resting together, and loving together. Their bond is something truly special, and they’re looking for a home where they can continue their journey, hand in paw. Easy-going and incredibly well-behaved, this pair is a joy to be around. They bring a calm, happy energy wherever they go and are content just being close to the people they love. And speaking of love—these two are extremely affectionate. They adore attention and will happily soak up all the cuddles, pets, and kind words you have to give. All they need now is a safe, quiet home with humans who will treasure them as much as they treasure each other. If you have room in your heart (and home) for double the love, come meet this sweet duo. They’re ready to share their golden years with someone who will love them just the way they love each other—completely.

Not good with kids, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
My son and his wife rescued him and had him for 4 years. I took him in on temporary basis, but circumstances changed and he has been with me for 5 years. I can no longer take care of him. Positive qualities: * Loyal and affectionate.  * Best in familiar surroundings. Has been going to same boarding facility for 8–9 years and gets along with other dogs while boarded. Some challenges: * Great guard dog, but can take a long time to settle down when I have visitors. * Not aggressive but can be anxious, fearful, and protective. Has lunged at men and teenagers when they got too close. Triggers: * Lunges or barks at some dogs, and at anyone (including kids) on a scooter or skateboard. * Fireworks are particularly distressing for him, causing anxiety. Ideal home for Django: * Would thrive in household without children, preferably on ranch or home with a large, fenced yard or with someone who can take him on regular walks. Best to avoid exposure to children, aggressive dogs, and strangers,

Story
Hi, I’m Elly — a tiny bundle of love looking for my forever person!I may be small, but my heart is huge. My favorite things in the world are cuddling, giving kisses, and being as close to my people as possible. I’m the perfect size for apartment living, and I promise to fill every corner of your home with love (and the occasional squeaky-toy soundtrack).I’m a total co-pilot and absolutely love car rides — especially sitting shotgun with my head resting on the center console. I also have a soft spot for stuffy toys and enjoy proudly parading around with one in my mouth like a little prize.I’m a smart girl, too! I already know sit, down, and roll over, and I’m eager to keep learning with my future human.Last summer, I tried a pool for the first time and, to my surprise, I liked it! I wasn’t swimming laps, but I enjoyed splashing around and exploring the water. I also get along great with other dogs and would love a furry friend to cuddle with when we’re not out adventuring.I’ve even met a cat before! I was curious and tried to say hello, but when he set a boundary, I understood. With slow introductions and a cat who’s used to dogs, I think we could absolutely learn to coexist and maybe even become friends. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly little shadow who will brighten your days and happily stick by your side, I might just be your girl. Story
i111er dreamed of adopting a snuggly sunbeam with the emotional range of a soap-opera diva? Meet Sunshine, a six-year-old cattle dog/border collie mix who is 40% brilliance, 40% sass, and 20% “ma’am, this is a Wendy’s.”At the shelter, Sunshine expresses her feelings through Bark, the ancient language of the Extremely Stressed. She performs this opera for anyone within a three-block radius. But it’s only because the shelter is a stressful place to be, and Sunshine knows she doesn’t belong here. She knows she is meant to live a life of leisure with humans who love her and keep her well stocked with treats and toys, and she will continue her protest of living here through barking loudly to ask to speak to the manager. Once she’s out of the shelter? She transforms. Suddenly she’s a polite, leash-walking, car-riding, house-trained queen (who only barks sometimes when she spots other dogs or animals, but in fairness to Sunshine, why are there ducks and geese at the park??) Sunshine is not here for your nonsense. She demands an adopter who appreciates a woman with boundaries, personality, a strong sense of fashion, and just a hint of chaos. She is affectionate, loyal, occasionally dramatic, and fully prepared to narrate the neighborhood gossip from your front window. She expects daily cuddle sessions, the last bite of whatever you’re eating, and for the photos saved on your phone to exclusively document her beauty. Sunshine doesn’t want to be perfect; she wants to be iconic. And she is.If you’re ready to embrace a dog who sparkles, snuggles, and sasses her way into your heart, head to Austin Animal Services to meet Sunshine. She’s waiting to charm you… loudly at first, and then forever. Email her agents at blueplusbusters@gmail.com to bring some Sunshine into your life.  Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 37.125 Age: 6yrs 9mths 3wks
