Olive is one of the calmest and shyest puppies you’ll ever meet. While she may seem very distant at first, she’ll showcase her true personality once you earn her trust. All she needs is personal space, time, patience, and lots of toys to chew on! On the first day she came to her foster home, she spent the whole evening hiding in the backyard and barely went near us. Now after a month, she’s shed her overly cautious demeanor. Her and her sister Junie are fully comfortable with us and super affectionate! Olive is crate and potty trained, however, she still highly dislikes leashes and refuses to walk on them. With more practice and positive reinforcement, she’ll get used to it in no time. Due to her shy nature, Olive’s transition into her forever home would be much easier if she had her sister Junie by her side. They love to spend time together and light up when they see each other, so being adopted as a pair would be best for them. Additionally, Olive’s favorite activity is play fighting and running around our yard with Junie. Olive is a very sweet and smart girl that anybody would be lucky to have as a companion (especially as a pair with her sister!!!). Olive is a female Collie mix with an estimated date of birth of 3/5/26. She weighs 28 lbs.

In comparison to her sister Olive, Junie is much more initially trusting and affectionate. She loves rubs and scratches and will approach you if she wants attention. However, she’s also shy like her sister and needs some time to get acclimated to new people and environments. She can be skittish and scared at times, but over time she’ll get more and more cuddly. Junie is potty trained but struggles with sleeping through the night sometimes. Additionally, she also doesn’t know how to walk on her leash properly yet, but she’s been learning and has made very good progress so far. Due to her shy nature, Junie’s transition into her forever home would likely be much easier if she had her sister Olive by her side. They love to spend time together and light up when they see each other, so being adopted as a pair would be best for them. Additionally, Junie loves to play fight and run around our yard with Olive. Junie is a very silly and playful girl that anybody would be lucky to have as a companion (especially as a pair with her sister!!!). What a character this girl is! Meet Daphne Daphne was heartbreakingly left behind by her owner after apparently being kept outside in the yard and no longer wanted. Despite everything, this beautiful girl has remained nothing but sweet, loving, and full of life. Daphne deserves a family who will truly cherish her, spend time with her, and show her what real love feels like. During our shelter pull, we noticed a note on her kennel card that had incorrect information on it. Of course, we had to see for ourselves — and Daphne completely proved that note wrong. She was absolutely PERFECT during her temp test. No aggression whatsoever, just a happy-go-lucky girl eager to make friends with every dog she met. We think Daphne is a Collie/Shepherd mix and she’s around 2 years old, maybe even younger. She is incredibly sweet, eager to please, and has such a fun personality. Sophie is an 11 year old, 70lb, spayed Collie mix. She is up to date on her vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is good with children and loves to play with other dogs. She would not do well with cats or chickens due to her prey drive. Sophie is crate and house trained and walks well on leash. She is an active, playful girl who prefers daily walks to get her energy out. She would love to snuggle with you on the couch and give hugs to everyone she meets! Sophie came into our rescue as a young puppy, she was adopted twice and had forever homes for approximately 3-1/2 years both times. Both times she was returned due to changes in the family dynamics through no fault of hers. She is looking for a REAL forever home this time - one that she can live out her remaining years with love and companionship. Stella - GSD mix - 2 yrs - female - www.twyla.org Meet Stella: This gorgeous girl is the Mom to the Gilmore Girls (Emily, Lorelai and Rory) - she was found by her foster family in an abandoned trailer after just having given birth to 7 puppies, they were about 10 days old at that time. Stella was a dedicated mother for the first few months, until her pups grew independent personalities and were starting to push boundaries, then she was done mothering them. Stella now enjoys solo yard time and people attention, barking at other dogs - even her daughters at times - and going on walks. Stella is a long haired German Shepherd/something mix, about 2 yrs old and displays many typical shepherd qualities, like desire to please her people, above average smarts, food motivation (this girl is willing to do sketchy stuff for food..), and some dog reactivity. We do not know her background, other than she was not medically taken care of and came to us heartworm positive. She was treated for heartworms and is now waiting for all remnants of the worms and medication to clear her system before her spay, which should be early July. Stella is looking for a home preferably where she can be the only dog (she maybe ok with a calm, same size or bigger male companion), where she can get the personal attention and affection she craves and with a handler that is willing and able to spend some time teaching her new tricks and manners, she is eager to learn. We have not observed her around kids, she be ok with older kids. ***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet, as not all dogs come to all Meet and Greets***

He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped and is ready for his forever home. He loves to cuddle, go on car rides, and play fetch. He is potty trained and will sit and lay down. He is a very fast learner and treat motivated.
