Story
Lucien is the cutest little guy! Those short little legs! Lol Lucien came to us via the police. He was being abused by his former owner who was a homeless drug addict and criminal. Luckily Lucien seems to not even remember those days! He loves to play with his toys and run and chase with other dogs! Would be a great family dog. Great with all dogs and kids. Has not been cat tested. Adoption fee is $200 and includes neuter, shots, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance. If you are interested in meeting this cuticle…please text 480-718-1312.November 4, 2024, 9:13 pm

Story
Available for Adoption! Meet Honey, a gentle, easygoing sweetheart who has already overcome so much and is now looking for the forever home she truly deserves. Honey showed up as a stray at the workplace of one of our previous adopters/fosters—pregnant, alone, and in need of safety. Despite our best efforts, no owner was found and no microchip was detected. Thankfully, her finder stepped up and fostered her through the final stretch of pregnancy. On May 1st, Honey gave birth to five healthy puppies—all safe, happy, and thriving. Now that she’s raised her little ones, it’s finally her turn to be the one cared for and cherished. Honey is: Spayed (7/1), Potty trained, Crate trained, Leash trained, Great with kids, Great with other dogs (currently living in a pack of 8!) She’s incredibly sweet, quiet, well-mannered, and obedient. Honey loves routine and thrives in a calm, loving environment. She can be a little nervous around larger dogs at first, but quickly settles once reassured. Her adorable personality, gentle nature, and joyful spirit make her a total delight to have in any home. We absolutely adore fostering Honey—she fills our days with smiles and laughter, and we know she’ll do the same for her future family. If you're ready to welcome a truly special girl into your life, Honey is waiting with a full heart and a wagging tail. Let’s find Honey the loving home she’s been waiting for! ##2428823##

Story
🚨 🐾 Foster to Adopt 🐾 🚨 Meet Phoenix! The prettiest little Corgi Heeler in all the land. She had very little faith, trust and pixie dust for humans but she has come a long way! She loves playing with dogs and is definitely a pack dog. She is a fear dog, or what I like to call a “cat dog”. She likes to watch you but doesn’t want to get too close, yet. Watching her grow will be so rewarding but will require patience. We are looking for a dedicated person that is willing to put in the time she deserves to become a cozy little house dog she desperately wants to become. Feel a 'Love Connection'? Story
Hi there! My name’s Nick—yes, like “Saint Nick,” though I am more tail wags than toy bags. I am about 20-25 pounds of love, fluff, and mystery lineage. Think labrador charm with the build of a corgi on casual Friday. Me and my brother Skipper were recently surrendered to the pound by our previous owner. The people here at Central Arizona Animal Rescue do not know why they did that to us. I am learning how to get along without my brother and to tell the truth, it is a little scary without him, but if I am ever going to find a cozy corner in someone's heart to call my own I will need to do that by myself. Here is the thing: I did not grow up around many people, so I am what they call “a little shy.” But give me a minute (and maybe a piece of cheese?), and I will be following you around like we have been besties since belly rubs were invented. Cameras freak me out—I know, I know, I am cute, but I prefer to be admired in real life rather so I made it hard for the folks here to get really great photos of me. A few facts about me: I am neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped—basically ready for a lifetime commitment I get along well with other dogs so if you have another dog that would be awesome!  House-trained? Probably but I might need a little refresher training when I get to my new home.  You might ask, what about cats?  Well, that is unknown territory, but I am open to negotiations. My previous owners did not leave any clues and there are none here at the rescue to really be able to find out with. If you have got patience, a comfy couch, and a pocket full of treats, I have got love, loyalty, and some very expressive ears to offer. Wanna meet me? Email mike@caaronline.org to set up a date—I promise to be awkwardly adorable..  With hopeful paws we will meet soon   PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail.   All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis. Central Arizona Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation. We are located in San Tan Valley, AZ. If you have other dogs already, you must bring them for introduction prior to adoption.
