Story
Meet Blue Mini Australian Shepherd / Corgi mix Blue is the perfect blend of smart and spunky. She is already crate trained and house trained, knows her basic commands, and picks up new commands or tricks quickly—she’d be easy to continue training and loves to learn. She adores her toys and will happily play for as long as you’re up for it, but she also has a wonderfully sweet side. When playtime winds down, Blue is content just being near her people, often curling up at your feet whenever she gets the chance. This friendly girl does well with other dogs and cats, making her a great fit for a multi-pet home. She would thrive in a home with older, respectful, dog-savvy kids who understand how to interact calmly and kindly. If you’re looking for a loyal, well-mannered companion with a playful personality and a loving heart, Blue may be the perfect match for you. ##2616957##

Subway is silly, wiggly, and absolutely food motivated (just ask him—he’ll show you his best “feed me” eyes). Subway’s Highlights: • Gives the cutest little “shake” high-fives with his stubby legs • Sweet, affectionate, and full of goofy charm • Like many small breeds, he prefers to keep his food to himself, so no reaching into his bowl • Otherwise, he’s a friendly, kind-hearted companion who will keep you smiling As for his breed mix? That’s anyone’s guess—he’s a one-of-a-kind recipe made with mystery ingredients and a whole lot of love. Looking for foster or forever home $250 Adoption Donation includes neuter, vaccinations, microchip and up to date on monthly preventatives. Story
Pembroke Welsh Corgi Mix Age: Senior Male, neutered 20 lbs Adoption Fee: Donation (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Llew was picked up by animal control off the streets of Hayward. He was unable to use his back legs. Otherwise he seemed in fairly good shape. He must not have been on the streets for long. It is suspected that he had a back problem (IVDD) that was never treated. He has responded well to anti-inflammatory and pain medications. He has gained some use of his back legs (he can stand and walk a few steps). He has been in physical therapy for a few months. UPDATE: With diligent persistence from his foster home, Llew is walking again on his back legs. He is a little wobbly, but he is using his back legs all the time - no more dragging. For all he has been through, he has an excellent demeanor - very friendly, very loving. He can come off as a little “pushy” to some dogs, but overall he gets along well with all the dogs in his foster home. He needs a home with no stairs, and where someone is home most of the time. He would prefer a home with another friendly dog. Nobody’s Perfekt Dogs is willing to assist with his vet costs, if needed. Even though he has regained the ability to walk with his hind legs, the jury is still out on whether he has control of his bladder and bowels. He appears to pee when he goes outside, but he doesn't stop and pee. Similarly, he doesn't stop and poop - it just comes out when it is ready.
